YT Addict | Hi Hello and welcome to YT! Six weeks is very young, usually they are 12 weeks though some would say 8 is fine. How is the baby doing? Would love to see pics! Also there are several 'stickys' with info for new owners. I will try to find and post the links for you. By the way ~ Love the name Oliver!

| Welcome to YT!! You will find a wealth of information here. The members are fantastic and always full of great advice for new moms. (I got my Bella at 6 weeks too, I was a novice yorkie owner! Things worked out very well for Bella. She is now a couple of days shy of 1 year old. She never had any low sugar issues, and was very well behaved, with not many issues what so ever. ) I would suggest for you to get some nutrical for puppies. Maybe try to supplement him a bit every now and again. (Little guys can have low blood sugar issues, very quickly!!!) Make sure she has some GOOD puppy food, that you could wet down with puppy formula. (This is what I did.) Make sure she or he stays warm and gets plenty of rest. I would get him to the VET ASAP too!!!!!! Things will be fine!!! Lets see some pics of your pretty new baby!!! Congrats!!!

| Welcome to YT and congratulations on your new puppy, Oliver . I got my ZoE, who was a healthy size pup, at 6 weeks too...so very young for a yorkie puppy. Make sure you feed him frequent small meals to keep his blood sugar level. Our vet had us on a 4 hour feeding schedule for the first week. ZoE will be 15 weeks old on Thursday and is doing great. Looking forward to seeing pics of Oliver.
