| I have terrible allergies ~ seasonal, grass, pollen; food, you name it. So maybe I just don't notice one more! But Lucy has never made me better or worse. I have seen special shampoos and wipes to use on your pets that are supposed to help allergic people. Don't know if it keeps down the dander or what but I know I've seen them in pet stores.

| Someone told me, the other day, that the pollen, etc. was going to be much worse this year, than most, because of all the freezing weather we had this winter...It, actually, resets a plant/tree/schrub's internal clock (so to speak) and causes them to really "burst forth"...I've noticed, down here in S.E. Texas that my car stays covered w/yellow pollen, all the time...I haven't noticed that being the case, in the past... |

| I would guess it's to do with the pup instead of the environment (try the bath), but I'm in Michigan and started with the water eye thing a couple weeks ago already...

| I just bathed my pups in a homemade shampoo recommended here on this forum...I used pure vegetable glycerin and white vinegar mixed 50/50. I believe the original recommendation was dish soap (Dawn). I left it at that for my schnauzer, but used a conditioner on my Yorkie. Left her shiny and squeaky clean. As long as you don't get it in the puppy's eyes, should be fine even for young dogs. Marg |
