| Thanks everyone... again everyone is so helpful We are going to try Boopster's recommendation and try a different type of playpen that zips at the top. Wish me luck. Know we are still looking for a great pet carrier so I can go on long walks with lil Sophie safely being carried in hopes of me trying to get more exercise. Warm Regards, Rose |

| they sell a fitted wire top for the xpen playpens. They run about $20.00. They fit on top and you clip them to it. I have one and my dogs can't get out. And by the way the little guys simply climb up and over the xpens. |

| Apple jumped (or climbed?) a 36" gate, when she was about 5 months old...She was gated, in the kitchen, while I was at work...After that, I puppy proofed the living room/dining room/kitchen/entry hall and that's where she lived, from then on....lol...I didn't want to take a chance at her hurting herself...But, omg'sh, your baby is still so small...can't remember if you said how high the pen is? |

| Sophie's doggie daddy, Gus is a big jumper, this is where Sassy gets it from. Happy to know she has a great home and lots of love.

| Soph was a climber as a pup and we used one of the mesh baby playpens for her. Ended up just turning it upside down. When it came time for bed, we'd just lift up one side and tuck her under. |

When we crated them, Lily would use her paw to open her crate and then go let Daisy out. She literally does it within a minute of us leaving the house. So, they now have free run of the living room. We've also added two more pups. | |

| I take Teegy on long walks all the time, he can go for hours. I bring food and water and treats. He lets me know if he needs a wee rest and I carry him for as long as he needs and he lets me know when he wants down again. My friends have these dog harnesses where you can carry the dog on your chest like a baby carrier if you'd rather do that. Something like this Pet Pockets-Front Carrier |
