Just joined yorkietalk. Gus is 17 1/2 and Mimi is 16 1/2 (April birthdays 1 week apart!) We certainly are having our old age challenges and that is the reason I started searching and found this wonderful site. Before I start asking a lot of questions, wanted to do some reading so I'm not asking redundant questions. Is there a thread that deals just with seniors? I'm totally amazed at how many wonderful yorkies there are out there!

OMG, your first post and you are already the title holder! They call that a knockout in boxing. I think you will learn a lot here, but anyone who has raised 17- and 16-year-old Yorkies has a lot to teach as well.

Wow!! 16-17 is just AMAZING!! welcome to YorkieTalk! Goodness, you must have a lot to teach! There isn't a thread for just seniors, but you can start one about the older ones.

(BTW- My little man was born in april too! april 8th this year!

Welcome to YT. How wonderful to have yorkies that age and I have such hope now since I
have the 11 yr old. Crystal doesn't have any health issues yet but I know they are
on their way. A thread would be great and call it Seniors Only You will love it here.

My oldest "son" Pizzy is 15 years old. No health problems at all. No medications, etc. Healthy as an ox.
