| ![]() Accoding to her Web site she lives in Helotes, Tx near La Cantera, that's about five minutes away from me. I'm about two exits down from her. I'm curious what her place looks like. |

| ![]() ok here is what I sent in my email to her I just couldnt stand it I have to ask, why do you breed such tiny babies knowing that their health can suffer so. I have a regular sized yorkie and I did my research, Yorkies in general have a specific groups of health issues as you state on your site that an owner shoud know about and I am certain that had any of your babies had any one of these issues they would not make it. Is it for the money?? because i know that people who raise regular sized yorkies make money. If you really love these animals you would not put then in harms way as you are doing. I would also like to know how it is that you know these babies are going to a good home if you are flying them anywhere in the united states you cant possibly know the living conditions of people in other states or wherever you send them and I hate to tell you this but just because someone can send you $1800 does not guarantee a good home. It's a shame that money is more important to you than the babies are. I doubt I hear from her but if I do Im sure she will be all huffy about it.

| ![]() From her About Us page: 100% of our puppies are registered through nationally recognized registries. 95% of our Yorkies are registered through AKC (American Kennel Club), and a ‘very’ few are registered through CKC (Continental Kennel Club), and the hybrids (Yorkie-Poms), are registered through ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club), which is a hybrid registry out of another nationally recognized registry known as APRI (America’s Pet Registry, Incorporated). then goes on:- I strongly encourage anyone shopping for a puppy, to require registration papers from a well known and respected registry. Since when has the CKC been a well known and respected registry or the APRI??? Those are the ones usually used by puppy mills or backyard breeders whose puppies usually aren't eligible for AKC registration.

| ![]() this woman is a quack!! but i will say it's pretty scary, to an unknowing, potential buyer her site looks very convincing! i thank God i knew a "teacup" was a bad thing to look for and just so happened to pick the biggest pup of the litter...she weighs in at a whopping 6.9 pounds and is tiny! we met a 2.5 lbs. yorkie once and there's no way i feel like I could even be responsible enough for something so tiny. as far as a contract she does have a health guarantee but nothing more...and she swears up and down that she has NEVER had one genetic problem except for the often misdiagnosed heart murmors & lp, which are OK for a "teacup" to have??? she refuses to do liver shunt testing...something that is performed on dogs twice the size because it DOES run in their BREED....small or not, they are still yorkies, which can have a predisposition to these problems...and i've always been under the impression that an open fontanel was a defect?? but she makes it sound ok? it is sick, and look at all the dams and sires she has, and what can possibly be healthy about a 2 pound BABY having her own babies? this just gets me irate! sometimes i think i would be better off not knowing about these idiots out there that are responsible for a helpless animals life, and further more the people that add fuel to their fires by not doing any homework. err!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Wow Beamers Mom, I didn't read the history stuff either just the "teacup" part and the history is pretty disturbing also. Wow she even let's other people use her male(s) for stud services! And to think she would be the type of person I would buy from before I found YT! I want to thank all of you for your wonderful knowledge and leading me in the right direction!

| ![]() And she even encourages you to bring your brand new tiny teacup puppy who fits in a doll purse home with you and have it sleep in your bed the first night... wonder how many broken legs her pups suffer.

| ![]() I'd be a nervous wreck with a 1lb yorkie sleeping in my bed. I probably wouldn't even sleep. Luckily Silver knows the perfect places to lay and she doesn't move and I don't have to worry about her breaking a leg getting off the bed.
