I guess i thought they were all individually crated when they were drying etc they are at my groomer. do some just let them run around free? that seems unsafe for many reasons to me

Did the OP plan on breeding her?? Well I don't think the OP will be coming back...and the story is odd...how can a dog get pregnant at the groomers?

I would definitely be pro-life too, PRO my GIRLS life. If your groomer is correct, and this did happen, there are too many unknowns to ensure your girl will survive.

What groomer do you use? I think where this happened should be known so no one uses this groomer.

I guess the moral of the story would be if you have an intact male or female either groom them yourself or use a mobile groomer to keep from coming home with more than a bad hair cut.

The last thing you need to do is put any faith in your groomer. I would NOT believe her all about the size of dog that mated with yout yorkie. She needs to be checked by a good vet aright away and you need to go over your choices with him or her. You have a 5 lb yorkie and you are NOT sure what she mated with. Chances of her having a c-section are VERY HIGH... You need to do what's right for your yorkie and not base this like if it was a person..

I have nothing to add - except I hope the owner does right by her Yorkie. This story is messed up on so many levels - it's unbelieveable.
