| Need advice and pep-talk before Mina's surgery My little Mina is 6 mo old. She had some serious problems that required hospitalization. They think she has a liver shunt. She has done great on the special Hills food and lactulose. She's gained weight and is lively and happy. They recommended that when I take her to be spayed in April to do exploratory to see if it is in fact a liver shunt. If it is then they will repair it so she only has to have one surgery. It is a very reputable animal hospital and they have all fallen in love with my little one so I know she will be in good hands. I'm just a nervous nelly about her going through this. I'm worried that something might go wrong or that I won't know how to take care of her when she comes home. I'm open to any questions I should ask when I do the surgery consult and any words of encouragement. Also, I'd like some advice on how I can make her comfortable when she comes home so that I am better prepared. Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your responses. |

| I wish I had advise for you on this but I never have had to go thru it. But I do know we all worry about our little ones when they are sick or are feeling bad. Prayers and hugs to you and Mina. Stay strong. |
