| Peanut lives with us... I have not posted in a few weeks, things get pretty crazy around here....but, I have good news. Peanut, my SIL's yorkie, is now part of our family. He is such a sweetie. Sil just had no idea how to care for him and since he was doind so well with me after his Ivermectrin scare, she just left him here???!!! He is such a sweetie and I am glad she did. He and little Tink get along well and he has made himself right at home. They share a bed and have their naps together. Tink seems to be quite a bit older that Peanut, but, it does not bother either of them. Peanut is 4 years old and needs some dental work very badly as well as needing to be neutered. His teeth are in amess and his breath...poor baby. He weighs a big 4 pounds and Tink is 3 pounds. HE will be ok to neuter at 4 years old? The dental work scares me as well. BEcasue of his size and I have to find a new, decent vet that will listen to me and what I want done to/for him. Anyway, just wanted to share my news with my yorkie friends.

| Congratulations! You will want to find a very good vet for small animals. You will want to have him checked out and have blood work done to see how his health is before you schedule him for any dental or neuter. Good luck.

| Finding a GOOD vet will be the hard part. I am so scared to take him anywhere after the worming with Ivermectin ordeal... I am searching and asking lots of questions before I do anything. It is hard to find a vet that will listen to you. Around here it is anyway. We live in a SMALL town with ONE vet. I will have to go to a larger town and really talk to the vet(s) that run these places.
