I personally would be concerned about a breeder who doesn't have her lines properly tested for neurologic disorders and other genetic diseases. Perhaps no one would have had to go through all this suffering if that had been done.

| ![]() Genetic testing is done by excellent breeders who care about only producing healthy puppies. You will NOT find puppy mills or bybers doing this. To think that they care enough to put that kind of money in preserving the breed is a real Joke. I, personally, am more comfortable with a breeder who ensures a pup is healthy BEFORE breeding the first time instead of choosing not to "rebreed" an unhealthy dog. Many issues take years to develop, what about the puppies that are born in the meantime. Just becaue it may not be what the majority does certainly doesn't make it the best or prefered way for the breed. |

| ![]() Is my profile picture not showing up? Did you take a moment to look at my album? I am NOT a breeder and I am a normal person. Go to modern dog magazine and search " Shiloh" go to bark magazine and do the same, ( he won the weekly smilers contest May 16th of this year). I promise you I am not a liar and totally honest. I never intended to even come off like this. I just miss my baby! |

As far as your profile picture goes, you will need to make sure it is sized properly for an avatar- you can google "resize pictures for several free sites to do that). Once you've done that, make sure you hit the save changes button after you upload the avatar in the control panel. Welcome to YT, I wish it were under better circumstances.

| ![]() I NEED to UPDATE you all on my Shiloh's passing.I did not get any results on what the cause of my Shiloh's passing was; but even though I did not have the official results( the vets could not figure it out) the breeder Terry gave me a beautiful little boy Biewer Yorkie with open arms. She was so kind and caring about the whole thing and still cared enough to give me Jonah(his pictures are on my site). Terry is a very nice woman and feel bad about the whole thing. Neither her nor I could of predicted this and it is no ones fault. These things are rare and unfortunately it happened to me. On a positive note I have 2 Biewers from her Sophie and Jonah and they are both very healthy and great dogs. Jonah is 2 pounds at 4 months old and sweet as pie. Sophie is the nicest dog I have ever had besides Shiloh lol. This issue needed to be addressed because It is not fair to Terry for any potential clients to think her dogs are not healthy. This was a rare case and I WOULD buy and suggest her as a breeder. Please email me if you have any questions. Please look at my photo's to see Jonah. |

| ![]() As i mentioned in my most recent post although my vet thought it was a heart issue the final result was inconclusive. Terry is a nice woman and she did help me the best she could after all was said and done. She is a great breeder and this is a total total sad and rare thing. |

| ![]() Glad you can vouch for her personality. Did you look her up on here? A LOT of sick dogs from her Parti lines (LS & neurological issues) and now her Biewer lines from people all over kind of makes me wonder personally. Do a search and contact the OP's like I did. Well that and my Elvis having serious health issues, epilepsy, arthritis genetic disorders. I was very taken back by her conflicting response to her breeding and lack of caring as to him being rehomed, to me from the lady she sold him to (for breeding according to Elaine Shelborne). It is shocking to me she didn't care he was used for breeding, poorly cared for and well anything to do with a dog she bred to produce, maybe she does and it was just an awkward situation for her-wish she'd join YT and put her side out there; but maybe that's just me. Please feel free to pass on my profile to her so she can see Elvis (life of the Parti boy) is still alive being treated properly (now) and receiving the medical attention he needs. Maybe if her response was based on it being an awkward situation she might want to see without notice. I'd assume if you breed dogs and take such pride in your line(s) you'd care how the offspring are treated, whom has them, and about their futures-even after you have sold them. If I was a breeder I'd want continual updates on all my previous dogs, and have a re-homing clause' in sales contracts. Again that's just my perspective though.

| ![]() After thought: genetic testing on "breeding stock" OFA chic certfication, re-homing (resale) clause, thoroughly screening buyers, only selling on pet only limited registration with spay/neuter in adopt contract-this should be a basic minimum breeders already have in place, and a contract that defines it all and has clear expectations, terms & resulting actions of default by both patri's.

| ![]() Terry was my Haley's breeder. When Haley first came to me she got sick and I took her to our after hours clinic and they told me she had luxating patellas. When Terry found this out she contacted me directly and offered to help in any way if this were true. She did not offer to replace her, she offered to pay for surgery or any expense related to it. She also asked if I thought it was too much for me to handle to let her buy Haley back from me. I was totally impressed by everything she did because she did not have to do any of it. She cried with me and contacted me many times during the day while I was trying to find out what really was going on. Haley turned out to not have the luxating patellas as the dr had said, she also did not have the other problem they had said (I cannot remember what they called it). Haley is the most spoiled, vocal, overbearing little diva that I have ever seen, and she came to me that way. I have a friend who got a puppy from Terry and she flew into the airport and hand delivered.

| ![]() Wow. I just got a 4 page email from Elaine Shelborne Shelborne's Yorkies threatening to at some point sue me for defamation (people really need to look at the definition of defamation) after she raises enough money to do so...(from breeding? I wonder)...I had considered this a lesson learned about how to buy your breeder and not the dog, but looks like we'll resolve it in litigation. I'll update as it progresses, perhaps it will be educational for others-as long as admin. clears me posting it all here. Of course since this is a public forum private information regarding both of our basic right to privacy and personal safety will be omitted. In a way I'm very interested in seeing what she'll actually claim in the court documentation and damages (I wonder the amounts she's trying to say she's out over this that I now owe her). Anyone who is in contact with Terry-I haven't addressed her in any way other than initial contact over Elvi's health so why Elaine feels I need to blame Terry and seek something from her, well that's not going to happen my issue is strictly with Elaine. What happens between the two of them is between the two of them.
