I found YT through a google search after my niece's yorkie died after 3 days (she had an undisclosed heart condition). I spent a year lurking and learning while helping her find a good breeder in her area. Thanks to the very knowledgeable people here, she now has a healthy 2 year old and my mom and I added a total of 4 yorkie and yorkie mixes to our households. YT rocks! |
I was lucky enough to have found YT just a few days after I brought home my first yorkie puppy. That was nearly 3 years ago. I have learned so much from the members on here. That I really do not think I would of known what I do now about the breed if it were not for YT. I want to do what is right and good for my doggie babies , and give them the best. YT is a wonderful resource , in helping me do so. Thankgoodness for YT. |
I will *always* remember what brought me to YT. I was desperately searching the internet for help for my Maddie one Sunday afternoon. As she was whining and dragging her face on the rug, I found a community of people. I had no idea about ER vet (how horrible is that :( ) ASA someone told me to find one, I did about 1.5 hours away and off we went. I know without a doubt, that YT as helped save my babies if it was nothing more but prayers for them as we faced something uncertain. I don't agree with everything I read here or the actions of everyone here, but that is the same with everything in life. I LOVE YT and plan to be here as long as the good Lord allows me to do so. :) Nice thread Rachel. |
I found yt shortly after getting remy, he is now 2 1/2 and this site has been an amazing and invaluable resource. |

I found YT many years ago when I got my first Yorkie. I knew NOTHING about them. YT taught me about Yorkies....how and what to feed, not to use a leash, and that there is more than just walmart to find clothes. :p The biggest thing that it taught me was that there is so many people out there that will truly go to the ends of the earth for their babies. In a world full of non-caring and greed it was such a relief to find others out there that regarded pets as a living being and cherished them for what they are. I may not have been too active in the past year but I still and always will come back here for advice, updates and learning. There is no better forum out there with as much info than what you can find here. And if you don't find it I am sure someone has already experienced it and is more than willing to share. I do LOVE YT!!!!!!!!!! |
