| ![]() haha yes i dyed her hair to match mine (all my friends, and people on the street love it) and im just dissapointed in the size, not her coloring(i think shes very cute~!) i would of liked to carry her around in a purse lol and by fairly dull i ment its not shiney. i only dye the top of her head, it would be too exspecive if i dyed all of her!?(organic hair dye is very pricy) so i dont think its the dye thats the problom. what shampoos would you reccomend me to use? and this isnt because i dont love her(i love her to death!) i was just seeing if anyone else had a yorki like this, because ive never seen them on the street when i go to nyc or even in nj. haha and thanks for all the compliments. haha(and exscuse my spelling) |

| ![]() She looks all yorkie to me! Changing her shampoo/conditioner might help her coat...but so will her diet. Not sure what you are feeding her...but premium food will go a long ways to shine up her coat too. You might check out how the food you feed her rates out of 5 stars... | ![]() I couldn't agree more my binky was 10lbs and the biggest yorkie I ever had but also the smartest. My rescue is 3.6lbs and I'm a nervous wreck most of the time when I heard her story I didn't know she was so teenie. I had been checking rescues to find myself one that was atleast 5lbs or larger that would fit into my family sad all this teacup stuff for sure this little dog if I didn't pull her would have been dead next litter they forced her to have. P.S words of this crazy lady to me I'm sure it would be ok for her to have a few more litters akc open paperwork you name it and this little dog almost died on her 2nd litter seizures and a csection later. When I took her in for a wellness check all the girls and vets there came to give me a hug for being so brave and esp for not knocking this lady out. |

| ![]() What kind of dye are you using on your dog? Anyways I can somewhat relate I got my rescue and he was supposed to be under 10 pounds right...they lady tells me no way will he more than 12 at the most....he's 21 pounds now...but I love him just the same! I was kind of bummed I can't carry him in a carrier...but he still gets carried like a baby... Scoobers is the freakiest looking Schnorkie ever! I've seen hundreds (maybe a slight exaggeration) of Schnorkies and only have ever seen three come out looking like my Scoobers in features and size... Excuse the funky kitchen mess we're remodeling...the boy actually scared Scoobers banging and I had to carry him around for a bit... Last edited by concretegurl; 02-19-2011 at 06:56 PM. |

I think she's beautiful! Why is her hair green on top? Is it the camera or did you dye it? As for the dullness, What are you feeding her? The best thing to do is give her a high quality food. I use Wellness small breed and Stella and Chewy's dry . I can't believe what a difference it makes in their coats. They are so shiney and soft and my two have cottony coats. Don't worry that she's bigger, My two were suppose to be 4 and 6 lbs. Now they're 7 and 8 lbs.

| ![]() Duh, I should have read your other posts, before I did my last one...lol I see you are feeding her a high quality food. I know that when I thought my two had dull fur..it was because I was trying out all different kinds of products. I've settled on "Bio groom" Fluffy Puppy and their Silk condtioner. I make sure to rinse out the fur really really well. Are you growing her coat long?? I also noticed that when I cut down their fur...it gave the newer healthier fur a chance to come through. Now, I can get it long again. I think the larger ones are better at tricks too.. ![]() As for the purse dogs....my two are 7 and 8 lbs and I can't imaging carrying them in a purse....it would be so heavy ![]()
