| Should have listened...no Petco haircuts!! Even after reading other posts about YT members angry after a Petco haircut, I still went because Milo had a good experience with his first grooming there (and only $10!) This was a different story...$60 later, and after requesting that his hygiene area and his face get 'cleaned up/trimmed' this is my sad Mr. Milo: Before and after...I feel so bad for him, like I let him down.... |

| They really shaved him. I would never go to petco for a cut. I have had my dogs groomed at a private groomer and she did a great job. They didnt look shaved at all. Now I only get a hygene cut cause Im letting their hair grow out. Dont ever go to petco again everybody has bad experiences with them.

| He is still cute, but he doesn't look like the same dog. He looked like a puppy before and now he looks much much older. Why did they shave him? That would NOT fall under the category "standard Yorkie cut" at all. I know I'm not saying things that make you feel better and I am sorry for that. It's just, to be honest, I would be very upset if they cut my dog this way. The good thing is that his hair will grow back. Sorry that you have to add your name to the "Unhappy with Petco" list. |

| Thanks to all who reminded me that it will grow back. Julz, I agree. I think I am more upset because he just doesnt look the same, and he looks old. I mean, he's only 5 mths, and he looks like my dog who is 12. Maybe Im just being childish, but I am going to visit my mom and sister in FL for thanksgiving and now he's not going to look all 'cute' like a puppy...and I so wanted to show him off darn it!! Dont get me wrong...I may even love him more now (seeking his forgiveness for my bad parenting), but he's just not the same. And he's going to be COLD in boston...jeez! And trust me, his hair looks much shorter in person than in photos! Thanks to all... chandra |

| He still looks adorable but it's too bad they shaved him!! What is it with so many that cut human or animal hair?!! I cut my own hair and my dogs hair because it seems they over cut. I have gone in for a trim of my own hair and they cut 6 in!! I went to get my yorkie just a little trim and she got shaved too!! This was years ago but it scared me so much I learned to to it myself! |

| We take our Lucy to a private groomer and have since she was 6 months old. At first we took her to PetSmart, but the lady we liked quit. PLUS they charged $40 and she was only 2lbs.. Then we found our current groomer. She has only charged us $20 for the last 5 1/2 years. She has not raised the prices, plus she is gentle and Lucy LOVES her. |

| I'm very sorry for your experience. I have found that its not just Petco but alot of groomers don't know how to give a yorkie a haircut. In my area there arent alot of groomers and when I've taken my lil guy in they all want to give him more of a terrier cut. Don't worry it will grow out and he is so cute anyway. Don't feel bad you were trying to be a good mommy and from the looks of him your doing a great job.

| He still looks cute as a button! Make sure you put a sweater or a coat on him when you take him out. And when you go to your Mom's for Thanksgiving, just put a warm, cuddly soft, ans slightly bigger sweater on him, and they won't even notice the haircut! hehe |

| I'll tell ya what, why don't you get him a cute sunggly winter sweater. His hair will grow more on his face and head by Thanksgiving and you know they always look precious in clothes (plus it will help keep him warm)! I gave my dog such a bad haircut once I was ashamed to put him out in my fenced in back yard when the neighbors had a party. I was like, "just hold it honey, it will be getting dark soon". |

| No Milo looks darling! I take tilly & sami to a groomer only because tilly & sami are comfortable and I know they both are safe and are on a first name basis they get a one on one and there is never a new face to work on either one so that makes them comfortable with a familar face each time. I pay 20.00 in the winter+ tip 25.00 and 25.00 + tip in the summer, different cuts for seasons, but Milo looks really cute It almost looks like tillys summer cut! I think petco needs to train the groomers on the art of seasonal cuts! |

| I don't use groomers I do it myself. But sometimes you want a real good professional job, well, I think that these groomers at these "pet stores" only know one cut and that's a schnauzer cut! It seems like all the dogs that come out of there all look the same. Oh, I know what you mean about showing him off in his puppy coat because they look so sweet, but when it grows back just specify a "puppy cut" if you don't want the long coat. A good groomer knows what you mean...
