| Snake in my backyard!!! Ok today was the first time time the temperature here was over 50 and we have had snow on the ground since Christmas. I let the babies out and since my washer and dryer are right by the door I was transfering laundry from washer to dryer. I look at the babies and they are all looking like under the house. Usually they go running in the yard, do their business then come in. I step out and look and I see a snake tail creeping under my house right where the patio meets the siding. All the babies came running in except little Wally.... he was afraid. I had to go out and pick him up and bring him in. Just now I come home and let them out again. The 3 big nuts go running like usual, but Wally goes right to the spot where the snake was and his little back feet were so far away from his front feet. Aw, he remembered and was checking it out. I will have my husband fill in the little space over the weekend. HATE SNAKES!!!

| Yikes! Snakes scare me too! Teddi and I went for a hike in the mountains about 2 years ago and a rattle snake was slithering across the path right in front of me and Teddi wasn't on a leash. I yelled at her to stop and she did. I picked her up and we RAN down the hill. That was the last time we ever went hiking!!!

| I hate snakes. I broke up with this guy because he had snakes. Actually I didn't mind that he liked snakes to each his own but I got kind of upset when he showed up on a date with his snake wrapped around his neck. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I really have to watch Jasmine. Last year she got a hold of a snake and killed it....I couldn't get her away from it. Thank the Lord it was a garter snake!

Sorry totally unrelated to this post..I had to commend her! I hope the snake was a gardener snake! My dogs killed a snake lizard in the yard last spring I was flipping out thinking it was a snake (yes I freaked over it looking like a gardener snake even)...Scoobers only fears cats..he'll chase down a horse, raccoon etc...terrifies me that Elvis and Princess will do the same...good reminder winter is ending time to get out and work on their recall obedience! | |
