Basil barks in english, no real accent, except the slight Chicago one.

He slept thru the night, and when he wakes up, he is a fast mover. Looks like he ws shot out of a cannon.

So glad to hear that Basil is adjusting well. I know what you are talking about when you say how fast he is. I've always had to keep Calleigh on a leash outdoors because she darts around so fast. If she saw a critter she would be gone in a second. I'm happy to hear he is sleeping well too. It sounds like you did good Steve!!

Steve....Basil is such a cutie pie! Congratulations again. Everyone sounds like they are adjusting well. Hope all went well at the vet for them both. I cannot wait to see more pictures of the three of them together.

He checked out perfectly. Now on Monday, Maxine gets her stitches removed.....I am tired trying to keep up with Basil. Maxine is not afraid to put him in his place, and Carlo lets he have at it and just looks at him. Carlo Poops bigger than Basil!

We are, I have lost 2 pounds chasing, and lifting, chasing and lifting. He is eating well, adapting well, and is real close with Carlo. Maxine still has reservations about the new kid, ever since he tried to hump her. Slept well last night. He got up when we got up. Maxine demanded to sleep in the bed with us. Guess she wants to show the little guy that she is still the number one dog, and will remain so.

We presently have 4 cats and two dogs, we are expecting another sheltie by late spring (we also had 3 dogs previously), and know what you mean about chasing after puppies! However I wish it was another yorkie we were getting because they are so spunky, full of life with that terrier personality!!

Have fun Basil is such a cutie. Maxine sounds like a riot!! All three dogs will get used to each other in due time.
