| I do believe that they're probably sponsored by the purina brand and recieves free food. There are food companies that supply free food for their dogs. I know that Orijen a Canadian company will supply free food for employees of any store that carry their food. (though lucky them because orijen is amazing!) I think some dogs do well with these so called "lower quality" dog food, while others don't. My mickey started off with one of the purinas but he didn't do well because of his sensitive stomach so the vet put him on hils prescription D/D for 14 years. we thought it was good because it was expensive & u can only get it from the vets. turns out its just as low quality as purina but expensive. But mickey does well. he's 15 years old and still going strong! So in all honesty i dont think its the quality of food its how the food is compatable with the dog. It's like us humans. there are regular grocery store bought food and then the fancy spancy organic food from stores like whole foods. So far I'm doing pretty great with the regular grocery store bought food. So, I am pretty sure that the dogs are the same |
