| Well, my little Monkey Boy is back to his 'normal' self again and I am being tortured by his little whines and attempts to charm me into letting him out to play with the girls. We still aren't sure if he was hurt while playing with them or if he slipped on the wood floors and twisted something but I don't want to take any chances so when he comes out now he is supervised. I wanted him to rest his leg and get better but now that he is better that means I'll need to start looking for that perfect home again. |

| He is a doll but may I ask you a personal question. Don't take this wrong but did you ever think of trying to work it out with Peanut. We have 5 dogs 3 of them are small and we have 2 basset hounds. They all play together and if you want to talk about a tackle my dogs could play for Green Bay. Especially if you say the other dogs like him. There is always a chance for a mishap with any dog but I wouldn't be so fast in rehoming him. |

| Kind of bummed people are so harsh about the ideal of re-homing. We all look (hopefully you all do too) for a dog that has a personality that functions for your family/lifestyle...I don't think there's any shame in someone re-homing especially for the betterment for the dog. I can see someone who just gets a dog and gives up or changes their mind...but huh nope...I'd still rather that person re-homed too. We took in my sig. other's ex-wife's dog because she all but was abandoning it...worked with training her for a year and re-homed her in an appropriate environment...we would have re-homed her right away but well she had some issues someone needed to deal with and of course it was...ye... Anyways she didn't bite kids, but wasn't happy with them, went to day care and socialized with other dogs, but needed to be in an only dog home was too territorial in her own house, needed exercise and we did it but a dog whom is used to being on e 12acres doesn't do well in a suburban back yard...let alone a Rhodesian ridge-back/whippet cross needs far more exercise than my walking and his every other weekend jogging bike rides in the woods was doing for her...
