| ![]() My research uncovered more unhappy customers than happy. I would say no to Banfield.

| ![]() I've used Banfield before. My advice is to RUN! IMO, the wellness plan allows them to do unecessary things to your pet. You can get your own pet insurance for cheaper than what they charge. Be aware that their wellness plan does NOT cover emergencies, accidents, etc.

| ![]() Banfield= over vax, over charge, under experienced. Like Kaiser, they send in a vet STUDENT to do all the exams and consult, and the actual Dr comes in for about 30 secs. For a puppy well visit, they gave an estimate of all the things they wanted to do, came out to over $400! I opted for what I thought I needed, still came out close to $100. I vote NOT!!! Go to yelp.com in your area and see what comes up with good reviews. bc you haven't put your locale, we can't be of much help. But yelp is a good start. I found our vet, Dr Malo, which I LOVE from yelp. Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital, 5 stars!!!

| ![]() We have had wonderful visits with our Banfield vet. Since each is a separate facility, the service varies. Like all things, the people make the difference. We go to the one in Rochester, NY. The staff is incredible and the vet AWESOME! She takes soooooo much time with us, has been very careful with vaccinations due to Bella's small size, took great care when cleaning her teeth, did pre-blood work, kept her warm, and was diligent with anesthetic amounts. I hate to blackball a company in it's entirety. I think you have to do your homework. We would fly with Bella to NY for any elective procedure because we like them so much. We've used our Banfield in AZ, we found good service and really like one of the vets. The insurance has worked very well for us. I know many have not been impressed, but we have. Just wanted to give another opinion. Interview, research, observe and make the best decision for your furbaby! |
