| New member Hello I am a new member to the board. I have a three year old male yorkie named Chico and a 3 month old female named Sophie. My Sophie became very sick and was diagnosed with a liver shunt. she is scheduled for surgery at the University of Tennessee on February 18th.I never even heard of a liver shunt until she got sick. i have joined the liver shunt support group and learning all I can before her surgery. Sophie is a tough little pup and I am praying she pulls through. |
