Two minutes later the second one whines to go out and do poopie. The 'other' one waits by the deck and they run like crazy to the door once again. Yes, they know they have outsmarted us. They do this every morning.

They have also learned to go out and get into the position to 'fake' a poopie. We have to actually see something drop to get a treat. Sometimes we go out to check the ground. They are little stinkers.

We crack up when they do this because they have figured out how to trick us.

LOL Poppy fake pee's for a treat too. I know its fake because she pee's on the path not the grass so if there is no puddle she aint getting a treat! :p She will fake pee then strut in the house all pleased with her cunning plan, if I shut the door and walk away without giving her a treat she will sit and cry/growl and the treat table.

I had to think about this one for a minute cause Tuck is always doing funny stuff cause is he just crazy but I was trying to remember if he does anything repative.

1. When we go outside and there is fresh snow he loves to just stop dead in his tracks and plops his face in the snow as if he was tracking something, then he lifts his face up and all you can see is his beady little black eyes and nose. :) He looks like Santa pup..hehe

2. He loves to be blowed dried even when he isnt wet, as soon as he hears the blow dryer he comes a running and will jump on your legs untill you at least blast him once with it, oddly enough it always has to be in his face.

3. when he sleeps he must be laying with his head on something, pile of pillows, blankets, clothes, etc.

4. As soon as I get up, so does he.. doesnt matter if I just go to the bathroom he is always right there.

5. when petted he nibbles on you, his legs or he licks your hand.

6. he wont eat his food with out his "sister lexee" eating hers first and not before he circles his plate about 3 times.
7. He barks at people when they are leaving the house, not when they come in..(someone please expain this one to me..lol)
yeah.. hes a wierd dog..but I love him..:)

Oh and another thing. Does anyone else have a potty watcher? Both Poppy and her sister Jess love to watch people on the toilet.... if me or any of my family go to the bathroom they will cry and scratch at the door to be let in, then just sit there staring at you... weirdos. :D

1) I cannot put on shoes to leave the house without Yogi trying to scratch them off my feet. He knows if momma puts on shoes she's leaving the house.
2) Try burying his "Loofur" aka his "anky" under the comforter and both Yorkies go into rat-huntin mode, and try to "dig" it out...it's hysterical to watch.
3) Yogi is the Poochie-bell ringer....a string of bells that he rings when he wants to go outside, Buttons & Mercedes (his dachshund sister) know this gets them a trip outside, so if pawing at me doesn't work, they paw at him till he goes to the door. When he hears me get up to come, he gets really excited, and barks victoriously, which in turn makes Button's upset with him, so she bite/tackles him the second they are out the door. She hates when he gets noisy.
4) I must have invisible hurdles around the perimeter of my yard, as Yogi must do his perimeter run everytime he gets let out (after he recovers from the tackle Buttons just gave him). He runs...jumps & glides like there are hurdles there, barking happily at the world to announce he is out, but the jump glide thing looks like he is jumping hurdles all the way around the yard.
5) I cannot sleep in warmer weather with my feet under the blankets...so now that I am actually cold, if I have my feet under the blankets, he will dig or mouth the blanket & pull it till my feet are uncovered. Then he runs up & gives me kisses like he fixed everything for me. Now I usually wait till he settles down before I cover up. Or maybe he is just checking to make sure I don't have shoes on to leave before he settles down...I don't know for sure...lol

Like I said earlier this morning, he is the smartest dog I have ever had, & both he & Buttons are the sweetest dogs ever, unless by chance you have the nerve to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night while mom is sleeping...then no matter how much they love on you during the day, you are a bad person that needs barked at."Oh...mom is up now (thanks to the barking), it's okay...you can pee!"

Awww yes the poopie. You have one of those too huh. I have to admit she got me on that one. She absolutely outsmarted me. The only reason I caught on to what she was doing was because I knew this one time she had diarrhea so I really was paying attention to her poop to make sure there was no blood and that was the only way I figured out what she was doing. She went through the motions of pooping like she was really doing something. As soon as she was done fake pooping she right to me to get her treat. That's when I knew my Brandi was not the sweet little angel I always thought she was.

When I fill Thor's food bowl, I have him Sit and Stay. He sticks his nose out as far as he possibly can to smell what his dinner will be. I can just see him thinking, "let it be steak... let it be steak... let it be -" :D

If I am sitting anywhere in the living room and I don't pay attention to Bogus, he will be laying on the couch and jump, like we do sometimes as we are falling asleep, and he will do it over and over until I say something to him, and then he rolls over on his back, the funniest thing! Yogi and Suki, don't really have any funny quirks like this:)

OMG!!! I LOVE this thread!!!! Everyone has such adorable little stinks!!:D

My Daizy used to sit on the floor in front of me whining when she wanted a treat or needed to go out.....but if that didn't get my attention she resorted to jumping up on the sofa and putting her two front paws on my chest and WHINING louder......if I look at her to ask her what she wants....she looks away...as soon as I turn my heard and look away... she looks back at me and whines AGAIN!! a little demanding! (We can do this for awhile..LOL)

She taught that annoying little habit to her little sister Tulip..but Tulip goes a step further by 'pawing' my face until she gets what she wants!!

And now my new adoptee Honey is ALREADY joined in on the obnoxious behavior!! Only been here a couple weeks and she knows the ropes!!

Honey also nose butts my husbands leg whenever she wants on
the sofa! Only him..not me...it's so funny!

It is so funny to see that others are doing this too. lol I have one hard, fast rule. After the sun goes down, if there is a poopie, NO treat. They know to run to bed without a treat if it is dark out. The reason I had to make this rule is that they would be waking me up all night long to go outside and 'poop' so they could get more treats. lol It makes me feel like I have outsmarted them just a little bit.. (not really) lol

LOL I laughed at all of them and nodded my head to most of them!!! Gracie LOVES SOCKS!!! well really ANYTHING that she can get her teeth on... whenever we are home or at my brothers house and the door bell rings she will look for something to put in her mouth and take to the door with her!!! and of course bark like crazy and look at me like shes saying "mommy someones at the door go get it I wanna see!!!" lol and turns in circles as shes barking one time the only thing that she could find was a dirty diaper!!! lmao sicko!!! she FREAKS out whenever someone comes to visit!!! she goes CRAZY wanting to jump on them and give them kisses!!!

another thing that she does that makes me laugh is whenever I tell her "Gracie do you wanna go... " she tilts her head as to say "YES MOM!!! I WANNA GO!!!" and then if we dont leave right away she whines until we go!!! lol

and she LOVES her grandpa!!! (my FIL) ANY TIME we go over there she has to go and find him and attacks him with kisses!!! he loves her too!!! :)

OMG...All of these are so cute...its as if we are all talking about the same furbaby. My Gizmo is also a sock lover and a spinner, he likes to make mad dashes around the house, and seperating dirty laundry is one of his favorite times. Silly willy likes to roll around in them on the floor. At poop time it is hilarious to watch, he does this thing where he pins around three times and proceeds to duck walk as he poops, and of course when done he has to turn around and take a sniff.

Then there is what hubby and I like to call the ''madd scientist'' thing he does, where we hide the toy inside the pillow case and he starts to so this front paw scratching real fast on the pillow case, its funny to watch because he has his head down concentrating and as he scratches his hair falls forward covering his face and he looks like he is going mad.

Next I am seated in my reclyner, with my elbows resting on the top of my knees, he will jump ion the chair with meclimb up my back, and litterally stand on my back and shouylders trying to take my hair bonnet off, once he gets it off he jumps over my head and takes off running...it is soooo funny.

I got a million stories like most of you, but I shall save some for later....lol

Ok....lets hear the next one please...lol!!!!
:lol tears:eyetearss:sidesplt:

My Yorkie Heidi's hang up is every night as soon as we go to bed she'll come up & pester me until I say, "Where's your bone?" She'll get the ? look on her face and take off down her bed stairs. A few minutes later up she'll come with a bone or toy I have to hold while she'll chew on it a couple of minutes then she'll happily stretch out & go to sleep. She'll also spin one time for yes she wants something and out of control multiple spins for I want it so bad I can't stand it. An annoying habit is every time I sit down to eat, even snack or whatever, she thinks I need to accompany her to her potty pad, which 99.9% of the time she didn't need to go she just wanted my attention. She does so many little funny things. Keeps me laughing. The other day she saw me get the fish food out - by the time I got to the aquarium she was sitting on the arm of the loveseat next to it so she could watch me feed the fish. I thought that was just pretty smart!
