| Worried about Kayla We have been feeding EVO and Innovia since the recall of Blue Buffalo. It seems like everything Kayla eats gives her huge amounts of gas on her little tummy. She has a real sensitive stomach and we have gone through the blood in the stools etc. and I don't want to chance on her really getting sick from the food she eats. We had to stop all treats like bully sticks etc. because she would get sick. But to have this much gas just doesn't seem right. Has anyone else had a problem with these foods? Even Lexi doesn't seem to like it very much, even though she will eat. But even right now as I type she is about to clear us out of the computar room. Geesh!!!!!! She smells like she died. Poor baby. I want to feed her something that will agree but I don't know where to start since we have tried everything. We buy them the best food but this seems to cause more gas than anything. Help!!! Any suggestions????? |

| I haven't had a problem with Innova, but I did find the EVO a bit too high in protien for them. another good food that I trust is the FROMM series

| Would you be interested in home cooking for your babies? I would first start her out with baby meats, baby carrots and baby green beans. See how she does with those and if it works out for her then you can find out how to cook up a few weeks supply of food and freeze, by clicking on Yorkie Health & Diet - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community . Good luck with your baby.

| I am not familiar with the feeding of the foods you posted, only because I have not tried them. As a few posters said to me it's all in trial and what they will eat. Keep getting samples and try for a few days, see what they like and works for them. You need to "Gradually" change their diet and see. I have got my puppies on Chicken Soup for the puupies lovers soul and their momma on Eukanuba, but I am getting ready to change her over to the Chick, soup for the dogs lovers soul. Home cooking IS good, but you need to know the right combo on ingredients. There are alot of people here that I highly respect. Listen to their advice and maybe it will work for your baby. Best of luck!!!! |

| I have never heard of the Fromm series. She does love carrots, green beans, celery. Sometimes even carrots will cause her stools to be loose. If I knew they were getting all they needed I would home cook for them. But, vitamins and all the other nutrients they need, I am kinda at a loss. We have the 2 schnauzers too, that their needs would probably be different than my yorkies. It would drive you nuts to know what to do with the little buggers. They are all little piggies. I am just getting to the point I don't trust any of the companies, whether USA made or not. Now when I talk about Innovia, Evo, I am talking about canned. I leave Innovia small bites out all the time in the dry food. |

| I have also read that too many vegetables in their diet will cause "loose stool". I do not know how much your baby(ies) wiegh but you should adjust to that. |
