| I feed.... I feed Baxter Nutro Ultra for puppy. He also gets the canned food 2-3 times a week. He seems to love it, but about 15 minutes after he eats he sure does have to poop. I was talking to my breeder last night as well as looking at some of threads...I may try Innova, Canidae or Wellness by Mother Hubbard. |

| Gingers finishing up a bag of Iams Smart Puppy right now, but I think I might try Science Diet next. She gets cottage cheese about 4 times a week, scrambled egg once, and I’m guilty of giving her more greenies and dog bones than she probably needs. (They just keep her so happy and out of trouble.) Oh yeah, and her diet is particularly rich in TP and Q-Tips. lol

| When Stomper was younger, I would feed him Royal Canine. I found out it was not the best food for them (sorry...just my opinion). We started to give him Innova which he liked as well. Since he is almost 1 years old, I've switched him to California Natural. Very healthy food for dogs. Sometimes I give him scrambled eggs or cottage cheese to spice his meal up!

| What does your dog eat? I've just begun switching my 2, (10 months and 5 1/2 months), from Purina Beneful Healthy Growth to Chicken Soup dry. They absolutely did not like the moist Chicken Soup so today I added a little AvoDerm moist as recommended by the lady at the store. The odor of fish was overwhelming and they stayed away. I also bought a small can of puppy Wellness which contains salmon. Hope this doesn't turn them off also. I would love to find something they look forward to and gobble up. Any suggestions for non fish loving babies would be welcome. |

| I feed my dogs Nutro ultra puppy dry and wet food. Nutro is really good, It doesnt have any meat by-products like most name brand dog food does, and the Nutro puppy wet smells like roast beef stew, it also has carrots and peas. They love it so much.

| Billjac for mine My Yorkie and my Westie both eat the Biljac frozen dog food. It's kind of expensive but if they like it and will eat it it's worth it. I get it at the frozen food section of a Walmart store in a town across the Oklahoma border about 20 miles from where I live. It is supposed to have a lot of meat in it and I know it doesn't have all the dyes that turn their mouths red. My Westie is white and his muzzle stays white eating Biljac, unlike some food that is said to stain their muzzles with reddish dye. I have seen pictures. My dogs have also got to be terrible beggers when we eat. I know it isn't a good thing to start but when it is just my husband and I there and they beg for a morsel it is so hard to resist not to give them something. My dogs also get eggs with a little cheese a couple of times a week and rice mixed with whatever kind of meat I have, usually chicken but last night I made a rice and steak casserole and they ate the leftovers and loved it. My Westie is getting too chubby because he always eats his food and then after she is finished eating always finishes off hers. I had some leftover bacon the other morning and I gave it to them as a snack and they went nuts over it. Maybe I'll make them some once in a while. They are so spoiled. I told my husband I think I am the kind of person who thinks she has to feed everyone really well. Maybe it's a flaw in my character. lol I am a great cook (bragging on myself) and I love to cook and feed all my family and friends. I think I'm one of those persons who relate feeding people to giving love. I do the same thing to my dogs and they are getting a little chubby. The first thing my grandchildren do when they come to my house is head for the kitchen. |
