| Well.....I haven't left Shadow for more than 4 days (3 Day Walk, visiting my daughter). And I've left her in my husband's very capable hands. But I still checked on her, didn't like the idea of her missing me. We've a deposit on a cruise next year (no possible way to take a dog) and will be leaving her with my Mom at my house. Have no idea what I'll be feeling, but I can certainly sympathize. |

| I've never had to leave my girls even for a whole day, and don't ever plan on doing that or I'd be the basket case like you.

| Anxiety OMG what are you going to do if you have to go to work? I don't work away from home so I am spared that issue but those of you who do and that's most I'm sure, how do you COPE? I don't think I'd make it. I totally understand the separation anxiety, my heart is just racing thinking about leaving him. I know I've become a crazy dog lady.

| I, totally, understand lol...I quit my job in corporate america, and opened up a pet sitting business, because I couldn't stand to leave my little Apple! I'd already planned to do the PS biz, but not for another 3 or 4 years...Now, I'm in and out, all day long, so I can see her, and her side kicks, Buzz and Cha Cha lol... |

| Oh I know exactaly how you feel. I rember back to almost 6 years ago when I was in the Hospital for my Breast Cancer surgery, the 1st thing I wanted when I woke up was a phone so I could call home and check on my babies. Then a year later I had to go back in the hospital because I had a staff infection in my blood and had to be in the hospital 7 day's. That was a horrible time for me. My sister did sneak my baies up one by one so I could see them, andI would call and leave messages to them on the answering machine.

| I came home to let Nala out at lunch Wednesday and just wasn't ready to leave her so I took her back to work with me. I am so blessed to work for a group of doctors who also love animals, so it was all good. Everyone came in to see her, including the docs I work for. Someone joked that she had her picture taken so many times she should be a puppy model. It was good therapy for everyone to have her there. Yesterday, everyone asked me where Nala was, and the docs said to bring her back so they could watch her grow. I have a trip planned out of the country in May and I am dreading leaving her. Several people have offered to keep her while we are gone, but I feel like they won't care for her the way I do.
