| This whole thing has gotten me sick. I don't see how anybody can sit back and watch a puppy suffer. You shouldn't be allowed to own a goldfish never mind a dog. If it were me I would have posted this breeder all over the internet. Then I would be at her doorstep and with my temper I would have done something to probably get me arrested. I also think you posted this to start a whole big thing on the forum, if not I think you are the most uncaring human being in the world. |

| This is just somebody who is trying to have some "twisted" fun at the expense of others who care about Yorkies. I don't believe one letter of it. Oh, and the "judgmental" accusation? Give me a break. Anytime we (and that includes you) make an assessment as to whether something is good or bad, right or wrong, desirable or undesirable, etc., we are making a judgment. What to eat a cheeseburger or a taco for lunch? You are going to have to make a judgment! Want to make a right or a left turn? You are going to have to make a judgment! Should you adopt puppy A or puppy B? You are going to have to make a judgment! Is what I am wanting to do right or wrong? You are going to have to make a judgment! Anytime you make a decision, you are being judgmental. That is what is supposed to help us to do the right thing, the best thing, keep us from making mistakes. What someone is REALLY saying when they accuse someone of being "judgmental" is: "You are not allowed to disagree with me!" They are trying to shut down discussion regarding their own bad decisions and their own bad judgments. After all, if someone assessed the situation, and made the judgment to agree with them, they wouldn't ever accuse that person of being judgmental, would they?

| I think everyone is very upset by your lack of judgement in not taking your pet to the vet sooner. Im not judging you because you are human and we are all capable of a lack in good judgement. What you do now is important. Please dont bring any new dogs into your house for 1 year. Parvo can live on surfaces that long. Also please give the name of the breeder and do a breeder review so someone else on here doesnt make the same mistake. Best wishes

| No Longer a Member | I've got to pipe in here, I believe you're in California right? Please review your animal welfare laws, section b as quoted below: b) Except as otherwise provided in subdivision (a) or (c), every person who overdrives, overloads, drives when overloaded, overworks, tortures, torments, deprives of necessary sustenance, drink, or shelter, cruelly beats, mutilates, or cruelly kills any animal, or causes or procures any animal to be so overdriven, overloaded, driven when overloaded, overworked, tortured, tormented, deprived of necessary sustenance, drink, or shelter, or to be cruelly beaten, mutilated, or cruelly killed; and whoever, having the charge or custody of any animal, either as owner or otherwise, subjects any animal to needless suffering, or inflicts unnecessary cruelty upon the animal, or in any manner abuses any animal, or fails to provide the animal with proper food, drink, or shelter or protection from the weather, or who drives, rides, or otherwise uses the animal when unfit for labor, is for every such offence, guilty of a crime punishable as a misdemeanoror as a felony or alternatively punishable as a misdemeanor or a felony and by a fine of not more than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). I believe that you are guilty of putting a puppy through needless suffering, Parvo is a horribly painful virus, and would have been a horrible thing to die from. By not seeking veterinary care as soon as your puppy turned to the worse you were allowing needless suffering to occur. Honestly, with the disregard you displayed for this pups well being, I believe the animals still in your custody should be turned over to a rescue before they too die of Parvo. It is possible for adult dogs to contract this disease, even if they were vaccinated from it. ref: California Penal Code: Animal Welfare Provisions |

| Well, I've been reading this person's posts, since I, too, have dealt with my sick yorkie lately. I'm going to give my input, because it strikes such a chord with me and my situation. ![]() First, this person hasn't responded to questions asked of her on every single one of her threads. She doesn't even take the time to use complete sentences...to me it feels like she can't be bothered. Her five-year-old yorkie has been both five and six over the past four months (and not in the right order...six, then five, then six... ). She was warned way back when looking for a "playmate" and ALSO a "male" that she couldn't automatically trust breeders on YT, and yet her first thread recently was how shocking it was that she couldn't. BUT, not so shocking and horrifying that she's willing to save others the same dreadful experience by naming the breeder. She has a six (or five?) year old and is asking about teeth care for the first time back in September? It seems to me she CLEARLY was asking whether she could breed her 5/6-year old, but in one of her rare responses claims she was just asking that question to figure out whether her dog was old??? )She seems to care FAR more about looks and size (not to mention acquisition of puppies) than health, care and companionship. Now, we can all only hope that she is trying to rile people up and gets some sort of twisted pleasure from being the source of so many emotional resonses (get a life, if so!). If not she is in my opinion, indeed, guilty of so many things: dishonesty? lying to get a puppy? abuse due to lack of care? asking for others to give and help but not even giving us any courtesies whatsever? ignorance? not to mention poor grammar. Zoe came to our family when we didn't even want a new dog at all, much less searched for one over YT through strangers. And STILL, we've been to the emergency vet and the vet SO MANY times over the two months, I've spent literally probably hundreds of hours researching the breed and how to make Zoe's life as healthy and happy as possible, and we've, as of today, spent WELL over $2000 trying to save this adorable baby. I've held her in my arms, loved her when she was bald, loved her with poop sticking to her bum, hand fed her most days, fed her with a syringe every hour around the clock for weeks, hand knit sweaters to try to keep her shivering, sick little body warmer...and it doesn't end there. In my opinion, that's what most of us on here, most dog lovers, and most decent human beings would have done. I'm trying not to "judge", even one who makes it so easy to do so, but I am embarassed to call you a fellow yorkie owner, and sad for the dogs in your care. I hope, if this is all real, that you have a HUGE change of heart. I get the same sick feeling when I read about child abuse of infants. How in the WORLD can a person hold a tiny puppy (or a large dog for that matter) or a baby and not do EVERYTHING in their power to protect and care for that baby???

| No Longer a Member | Ah, I wasn't sure if she had ever responded. I remember someone offering to meet her to help get the poor pup to a vet and to help her figure out how to pay (care plan, etc) but couldn't remember which Lakewood they decided she was from. Either way, I think this falls into the category of abuse with any state animal welfare protection laws. |

I agree totallyTo the OP I would like to know..how the hell you could go to bed and SLEEP while that sweet baby was fighting for his life? I don't understand ![]() would you tell your skin child that is running a fever of 102 "honey I'm going to bed now I'll take you to the Dr. in the morning IF YOU MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT." You don't deserve another puppy or the 2 that you have!!!!

| Yes. She would tell a child exactly that. I have always believed that if anyone abuses an animal, they would abuse anything or anyone. I cannot for the life of me understand how people can be that uncaring and sit by while something so helpless as a puppy suffers. If this is just a hoax or not to even suggest something like this happened I hope God in His wisdom and understanding grants you what you deserve. |

I usually stay out of things like this, BUT I agree with what the above say's. AND if I could say what I really think I may be just kicked off this group. I don't want that to happen as I like this group and the great people here.
