| Shredding up pee pads I have a 10-month old female yorkie who seems to have turned into a different little girl in the last month or so. We brought her to classes early on for basic training and she did great. NOW.....she is really testing limits, almost like she is going backwards. Her newest thing is shredding her pee pads all over the house. I read that between 9-15 months yorkies will test limits with their humans and to be persistant in letting them know who is still in charge. My sweet little girl seems to have turned into a little devil |

| That sounds about the right age for a Yorkie to start acting like a Yorkie...LOL Everything can be going so well for 3 to 9 months..training etc..then they act like wild teenagers which they are by then... Keep reenforcing the rules, time out pen works for mine..or you can give up and use washable pads. |

| you may want to try something other than pee pads, here is the homemade grid that i use, and I clamp down the rubber mats so that harley can't get to the news paper, (it's cheaper and less smelly too)

| Bailee just turned one, and we too went through a 'terrible two' phase. However, it comes and goes and he is currently a real sweet boy. As for the potty pads, I use washable ones from YT member "107barney" ~ T. Bumpkins & Co. Not only are they durable, but they are also cute. You can get colors to match any decor. We started with the disposable ones. Bailee shredded them immediately. These are great! Washable and reusable dog and puppy pee pads, belly bands, and diapers at T. Bumpkins & Co.

| I also went to washable potty pads thanks to the advice of a YT memeber. I also got them from T. Bumpkins & Co. They're a little expensive but they're really great. I bought three of them because Zach was always shreading his potty pads and I was going through a box a week. These are really great. I wash it and put it in the dryier at a low temp and then it's ready to go again. |

| yes-- my little Remy shredded and "ate" her potty pads. I take her outside so I don't think she even uses the pads anymore, but keep them down because my shih tuz uses them time to time. I like the advice on the cloth ones-- that may work better for me
