| I think the article makes some good points for people whose immunity might be compromised but I would rather run the risk than go to sleep without Buster. And to go without Yorkie kisses would be unbearable. Last edited by Buster Brown; 01-20-2011 at 01:26 PM. |

| I guess we have to rely on common sense and good hygiene. I'm going with my guess that Dinky does more to reduce the health issues associated with stress. Waking up with my sweetie, taking him out, and going back to sleep on a Saturday morning with the cuddler is good for me. |

| My husband just told me about this article and glad you posted the link here, so I could read it. Interesting, but nothing is going to change here.

| I sleep with at least 5 cats and 2 dogs on my bed. There is always someone writting things about things that are bad for your health. If it's not pets it's food or what you drink or what you wear. If you pay attention to everything you might as well live in a closet. |

| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | I think that the article, despite the hyperboles, is good in so far as that "immuno suppressed folks" should exercise extreme caution, or simply don't allow the pup to sleep in bed with you. Immuno suppresed ppl are a bigger share of the population than you might think. Probably around 15-20 % or so. but I do feel that if you aren't (immuno suppressed) and you do all that beautiful care we do for our Yorkies, there shouldn't be a problem.

| YT Addict | Well well well....another one huh...hmmm....I think I woul;d rather die in bed with my Gizmo than get hit by that person texting while driving, or from all the additives in the food from the grocery store, or even from the worst place of all...a visit to any hospital...germs galore. So I choose to die with gizmo curled up next to me in his bed, we even let hubby join us....lol

| I believe that it is a good thing to die happy. My dogs make me happy and if they make me die, then I die happy. |

| I really guess if that was true I'd been gone a long time ago. I can't count the number of nights I slept snuggled up next to a pregnant mare waiting for her foal's arrival. No telling what other cirtters were sleeping with us |
