Doggie daycare?

So I just brought Teddy home from his first day at doggie day care.
Was he extremely excited to see me? No.
What did he do when he got home? Went straight to sleep!

I think its safe to say he REALLY enjoyed Doggie Day Care!!!
The trainer said he made a friend named Max (a dashund) and that he spent the entire day chasing...haha. She also said that he learned the drop command only after a few tries...she said that Teddy is really smart, which I agree with he completely outsmarts me!!!

He just threw up unknown food....it must have been the treats they gave him.... After throwing up he keeps coughing and nothing comes out...

I would love 2 take Tootsy , she wants to play soo bad with a furry friend . It would be great . Can,t find 1 in Philly . Have to shop around some more . Out time is short, 10 degrees. brrrr.

They were really caring towards the dogs. They even wiped their paws off when we came to pick them up.

There were tons of small doggies for the girls to play with. My girls seemed to really enjoy it!

I wouldn't hesitate to take my girls again if we were in town. We generally use Camp Bow Wow, though.

Sometimes, after playing a lot, they will drink tons of water when they get home and this causes them to vomit. While we've never had a problem with it, I have heard of others who have. Maybe that is what happened?

Also, you can ask that they don't give treats or only give treats that you provide.

Ian loves doggy daycare!! He goes to Camp Bow Wow when we will be gone over night, and sometimes just for the day. They have cameras, so you can watch your puppy have fun. I try to take him there at least once a month for day camp because he is an only furchild, and loves to play with his friends.
He comes home nice and tired from running, sniffing, and playing all day.

Camp Bow Wow is a chain, so they may have one near you!!

Hope he's feeling better. Did you take some of his regular food and training treats with you? Tallulah has to be fed separately from the other dogs because she hasn't leafed her manners and gets into everybody else's food otherwise.

Hi thank you, I didn't get an e-mail notification of your message What's up with that? Anyways yes Teddy is doing better. The next day he went to daycare I gave them Teddy's kibble and as soon as his new training treats come in I will be giving that to them as well. He did not throw up the second time he went and today will be his third time at doggie day care! He seems to really love it and that makes me incredibly happy! The trainers say that Teddy is absolutely wonderful with other dogs!
