Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Gizmo is my third Yorkie. Sadly, I lost my sweet Prissy October 2009. She was almost 14 years old and I miss her terribly. At the time I thought that I would never want another Yorkie, but after a while I got the urge. You all know what I mean. Once you have had one of these little bundles of joy you can't live without one. Now I cannot imagine not having Gizmo. As I am typing this he is chewing on my foot asking me to play...play...play.

I'm sorry you lost Prissy. It's tough! I saw Gizmo's pics that you posted and is he ever precious!

Hello,
I am new to yorkietalk also. I am not sure how to do this yet. We lost two of our yorkies in the past year and a half. We have a five year old yorkie who is sweet and sad. Trying to find a good breeder.

Be careful. People from this site will probably PM you with available Yorkies. That doesn't mean that they are good reputable breeders. I would recomend going to the YTCA breeder referral - google it to find a good breeder, but even with that, ask questions. Good luck on your search!!

Thank you for the information. I will check out this site. We were very fortunate with our first two yorkies. We found a wonderful lady and ended up with two wonderful yorkies. We miss them every day.
