...Never thought of showering with Harley, hummmm I may have to give it a go. Do you hold them up, or let them run freely around in the tub? I probably couldn't do it, I like to be a lobster when I come out of the tub/shower, the water has to be hot, it's most likely too hot for Harley. |
OMG!! i thought i was the only crazy one!! i shower w my baby too!!!! I think it makes her feel safe!!! |
DH gives Dink his bath and sometimes does the shower routine to save time. I wait with a towel and do the drying etc. Same routine for bath. Dink loves warm water so he doesn't fuss at bath or shower time. He even loves the hair dryer as long as it's warm. |
I do, but after I'm done, I let them in. My bf does the same. We're afraid that they will lick the soap and stuff. |
I never have. However, she sits right in front of the shower and stares at me on her special blanket I made her. Maybe she is telling me to let her in? Lol. May have to give it a try!! |
I thought I was the only one! I started giving Fancy a bath in the sink when I first got her because she was soooo tiny but now she always takes a shower with me. I think it is easier getting the soap/conditioner rinsed out of her hair. |
I do it all the time! I have a disability, so it is hard for me to stand at the sink for any length of time. I use a shower seat & just sit them on my lap. It makes them feel secure. I bathe them before I bathe myself. I always hold their ears down while they are under the direct stream of the shower so that they don't get water in their ears. When they are done, I put them on the floor away from the shower stream & then it is my turn! They know the routine & patiently wait until I'm done. When the shower is turned off, I bring them back on my lap & dry them with the towel before I dry myself. They feel so good when I let them out & they are all clean!!!! |
