| Welcome to YT. Not all yorkies are of the barksalot variety. Mine isn't. She doesn't bark when snowstorms, or any other storms, are coming, either.

| Mine barks when she wants a treat or some dog food, when she hears a strange noise or a stranger comes in the house, when she wants to play, when the other dogs bark, and sometimes she looks at me with "that look" and barks for no reason that I can figure out. Other than that, she's pretty quiet. Welcome to YorkieTalk. We are glad you are here and hope you enjoy being here.

| My little guy is named Oliver. He's full grown and we've had him almost 2 weeks now. He's doing really well. I don't know much about him, but I will get more info soon. He didn't bark much until the night before the storm, so I wonder what his motives are! |

| Welcome. Shadow doesn't bark at a snowstorm, she barks when: 1. She wants a toy that our Viszla, Brandi has 2. She wants to go in a room that is gated 3. She hears a strange sound (this could be someone upstaris, someone coming into the house, etc.) 4. When she feels she's been in her penned area long enough 5. From a deep slepp that mus be a reaction to a dream, can't think of another reason So.....good luck |

| Welcome to YT. So glad you could join us, and maybe post some beautiful snow pictures with your dog, especially those of us that never get snow. We don't get many storms and we very, very (maybe every few YEARS) rarely see lightning or hear thunder. Once when we did have thunder and lightning, they barked at that.
