That's what I've been doing. But, he just uses his tongue to keep pushing it back up. | |

| I use cream cheese... try it first without the pill, if he likes it, then wrap it up in a little blob of cream cheese, I find it goes down easy (buy low fat). Also don't worry, it sounds like the classic puppy blues, which I'm sure we've all had at one point. for the commands I recommend reading "Train your dog like a pro" by Jean Donaldson, my trainer gave me her name and I found the book online. it breaks things down really simply. the key with her method is to teach the action so well first, before you give it a command. I'm pretty sure she's an agility trainer. Harley wouldn't distinguish from sit and down for a year and it was frustrating me, and I worked through the first chapter and everything went really well. It's done a lot for us...

| A ball of cheese, creamed or anything you can roll it in tightly...glad it worked... At his age he is fairly set in his ways..but I am sure you can learn a lot from a good trainer and hints on YT...running off and not coming is a tough one. Becca sees the food in my hand, flips her nose in the air and walksin the opposite direction..3 mins later she comes looking for her treat!.. |
