| For those with more than one... Ok so I realize this sounds kind of gross to those that aren't Yorkie lovers but I can't help but find it super cute. Whenever Sasha is taking a nap his little brother Simba likes to come lay down next to him and start licking the inside of Sasha's ears. And I don't mean just a tiny kiss, he will lay there for at least five minutes and lick away and Sasha is more than happy to let him do it. Does anyone else's furbabies do this to one another? |

| Yep - my older two do that. Oliver will lick Tia's ears but when he's done, he keeps sticking his face into Tia's until she gives him a good face cleaning. Then he walks around with his hair all standing straight up and wet (from the licking). It's kinda cute and kinda gross as the same time. |

| My Chi does it to my Shorkie. She started when Lily kept getting ear infections and was constantly in pain/rubbing her ears everywhere. I think Daisy is trying to "clean" them for her. |

| What's really funny is that Simba refuses to let Sasha lick his ears or face. I think Simba has "little dog" complex and wants to prove that he's dominant. Sasha is a bit of a "teapot" weighing in at a whopping 8 1/2 pounds and is also the older of the two and Simba is only 4 pounds. So at home Simba rules the house but when they're out Sasha is the more outgoing of the two. He's much more likely to approach people to let them pet him while Simba takes more time to warm up to strangers. |

| My two don't lick eachothers ears, but they are always giving eachother kisses. Just yesterday they were practically making out Khloe is the big kisser and Couver always kisses her back It's adorable.

| I dogsat a Puggle once who was obsessed with licking Jackson's ears! Lol. Jackson liked it too. I thought it was so funny. I also watch a Rottweiler that likes to lick Jackson, and again, he acts like he enjoys it, LOL. It's so cute. Lol, here's a picture I found. Jackson's head was all messed up from his slobber, ha!

| Is it a maternal or paternal thing I wonder. Guess none of mine have it. Never seen any of them bathing the other.

| Cassie has declared that eye cleaning is her God-assigned role in life. She has washed the faces of every dog that has ever come into this house. The gentle giant, Ivan, loved it and Skeeter will beg her to clean his face. Cassie would hold Adie and Skeeter both down like a their mother would to clean them up when they first came to live with us. She has never had a litter and she is a puppymill rescue so I can't imagine that she learned the behavior, but I have always said that she is mother to us all. She will even try to clean our eyes too but we usually won't let her. LOL |

| I'm thinking it's just a Yorkie thing because in addition to Simba licking Sasha's ears they will both try to give anyone who will sit still long enough an entire face cleaning especially eyes. They also seem to be even more attracted to eyelashes with mascara, it must be the smell. |
