| How muscular is your yorkie? On a recent Vet visit, the vet was checking Jamie out and he commented on her back legs. He said " wow they are really muscular". She walks with big dogs for about a mile and a half every day and she loves to jump. I tried to discourage the jumping but she is not at all interested. I give her massages every day and now that the vet pointed it out, I realize that her back legs are big and muscular. I don't remember that with my other yorkie. Jamie is a good size-9 pounds but no fat. Just wondering if anyone else has a yorkie with muscular legs? |

| My Moka is very muscular and solid as a rock! LOL, she too jumps and it drives me crazy. She has drum sticks for thighs Picking her up is like picking up solid lead. She only weighs about 8 pounds and I know that's not a lot. Compared to my frail little Mylee who weighs 7 pounds and acutally needs to gain some weight, it is amazing just how differently they carry their weight. Even though they are similar in size they are totally different in structure. Moka is short and squaty (like me) and Mylee is tall and leggy. Mylee feels like a feather compared to Moka.

| Yep - Jackson is a pretty solid boy. Because he's not fat at all... and he's skinny, I think alot of his weight (15ish pounds) is mostly muscle. He's got definition in his legs. He does a ton of running, swimming (in the summer), walking, etc. Oh and agility too. He is also a jumper.

| Yes, my Yogi is solid as a rock also. His little legs are round and firm compared to my other two.....I thought it might have been due to the fact I didn't have him neutered and his little testosterone self, but I see some girls here are out numbering him LOL.

| The vet has actually made similar comments to me about my girls. I guess it's the "tomboy" in them building up that muscle mass.

| I two have bigger Yorkies and they both have muscular legs -- very sturdy.

| Maxman is well developed, probably from all the walking we do. He is a serious jumper and can easily effortlessly propel himself from a sitting position. Teddy has built up a nice chest, but his legs are still skinny. I think he will always be lighter and sinewy compared to Max.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Nikki my old guy has the most muscular legs. Not sure what his past was like but he can still jump really well for 16 years or so.
