| i recommend a silky terrier! they are still terriers mind you, but my Bentley is the sweetest little thing. i'd recommend a male as they tend to be better at cuddling while females are really dominant and have attitudes from my experience with them. i think you should defin. practice with dogs like in a shelter or vet's office before trying out your own, but yes on the small breed and from only having had two breeds i'd say my silky terrier male would be GREAT for a recovering dog phobic. good luck on the research and i hope you find something that works for you. |
