| Grooming Qestion ! I have a 15 weeks old baby and I was looking for some advice on grooming. When it comes to grooming him what is the best thing to do about the hair around his eyes. He has so many hairs that are short and long and it is crazy! I try to wash his face at least once a day and he gets a bath weekly. But it still gets all wet and nasty. I am not going to show him because he is my baby and so I would love to keep a puppy cut. There are a lot of groomers in the area but my baby seems so little to leave all day IN A CAGE! What do you suggest is the best way to groom him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Emms |

| You can trim those little hairs around the eyes with some small scissors or if you want to grow it out -- use human hair product like dep or mouse to train the hair away from his eye area. I wouldn't leave a puppy all day at a groomers you can take him in and wait for them to trim it for you. Usually they just do it right away as it is a 10 second job. |

| They are never too young to be groomed once they are in their forever homes. I let that hair grow. It is a pain to begin with until it does get long enough. Be very picky about a groomer and very specific in what you want. If you don't want them to trim the top of his head (and you probably won't), you better put it in writing and state it very clearly. Tell them specifically how much you want trimmed off of his length and make it clear that he better not be shaved when you get him back. If you have to sound like a b*&@! so be it. I don't mean to be ignorant, but there have been some grooming stories from hell on here |

| I leave Snoodles hair grow. It is so preatty when it grows. Now to the eye hair question: My vet told me to wash out her eyes every day, and let the hair grow because if one keeps cutting it, it can cause eye irritation or infection. It will take a while, but it is certainly worth it. Pat |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had Cali groomed last week, and i was a nervous wreck. I interviewed her before taking Cali and when I took her in she asked me about evrything I wanted done and had her done in 45 minutes and did it after all other dogs were gone. SHe looked beautiful! It cost 35.00! |

| Princess only gets the puppy cut in the summer, because of the heat. If you do go with the puppy cut, be sure to have lots of sweaters for him to keep warm.
