| Sad when weather is cold I thought Callie might be sick because she has been sleeping so much and acting like she might be not feeling well but today we had a pretty nice day (for winter) and she was so lively running around stealing Christmas bows we were trying to put away and just loving being able to be outside. Does any one else's baby just sleep when the weather is really cold and they cant really spend a lot of time outside? Thank goodness for Sammy coming over at least once a week or I think she would go board crazy.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Cold days and rainy days make both of mine want to curl up and be couch potatoes. Today was gorgeous, so they were both really active and playful. Maybe they have a "hibernation" gene

| Dh and I took Scooter and Sadie to the big park for a three mile walk today, It was their first time at the big park and at first they were scared but on the way back they were all into it. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed it. Only in Ohio can you go for a walk with no coat on during the last day of December. My babies are spoiled RIP Sophie Lynn Mommy loves and misses you |

| Where are you that it's nice today?!? I wanna go there! We're in the middle of a lovely blizzard, and it's -3*F. Roads closed pretty much all over the state. But yes, Chewie is pretty sleepy when the weather is bad. Which is nice, because then he curls up beside me and keeps me warm!

| Both mine need to get out of here. They are just lying around and can't get a good run in the yard. The snow is still deep and all they have is a little potty patch, maybe tomorrow I'll take them for a ride.

| Ringo, especially seems to get depressed if there are several days of bad/cold weather in a row. It doesn't seem to bother Lucy as much. They were happy today! 50 degrees and able to finally go for a walk.

| I definitely notice that my dogs get cabin fever during the winter. It's so cold here, that when they do go out, they quickly go potty and head back in, only to curl up and go back to sleep. Now and then they will get wild and crazy and run off some energy, but I also make a point of getting on the floor and playing with them several times a day. I feel bad for them and understand the sadness, as I hate winter too!

| Mine don't like the cold/rain or cloudy weather. They, like your's just lay around and seem to sleep. They love being outside in the sunshine and chasing squirrels.

| In the winter, Jackson tends to be more active when we are outside. Like when we go to the dog park in the winter, he runs around a TON, and has a lot of energy... in the summer, he's often too hot to run around for long and prefers to lay in the doggie pool. But when we're inside on those cold days, yes he will sleep alot. I try not to let him sleep all day though because then 5 or 6pm rolls around and he begins driving me crazy. He needs activity every single day for the most part even if it's indoors. One day is the maximum that he will lay around all day.
