Teegy does the stretch every morning before the pee and poo walk. he goes down on his front paws with his but in the air and then gives himself a shake all over |
Lucy like to come over and put her front paws on my computer chair and do the long stretch. I think it means 'please get off the computer'. |
I love the stretches. Jersey looks like rubber man when he stretches those long legs go forever. Brielle is so tiny that it looks like a lot of work for her.lol I say to her "O stretchy stretch" she looks at me like you are crazy! |
Yes the dog stretchs in sanskrit are Adho Muhka Svanasana, and Urdhva Muhka Svanasana Animanls are much more body savvy then we paltry humans. They know after resting you get up and stretchhhhhhhhhhhhh.. Downward dog and Upward dog were named after the dog stretches. I love the one Magic does, he stands up and then stretches one hind leg out behind him, shakes it then does a three legged upward dog pose. Hilarious to watch. |
Heck yes! Not only do I love watching them stretch, I just have to pat those CUTE little fannys EVERY time they do it! hahaha ♥♥ |
You can tell it feels really great when they stretch like that. I love seeing him so happy and relaxed |
Ahahaha, I love all the different stretch positions. My all time favorite for Zhoie is in the mornings. She stays in bed while I get up take my tinkle, get my cup of coffee, then I go in and say..you ready to get up girlie butt, she then stretches both legs over head, pulls them down (so taunt, they're quivering) by her sides and yawns. At that point, I can't take it anymore (I'm feeling so AWWW) and I have to crawl back in and give many many kisses. lol |

Oh yes,I absolutely love when Tess streches and her yawns too. |
I always think it's adorable when Roxie stretches. She usually does the long stretch with her but in the air and her head turned up. But sometimes she will come over to my computer chair and put her feet up and do a standing stretch. Am I the only one who says "streeeeetch" in a high funny voice whenever she does it? Yeah, I'm weird. |
