Or when they stretch really big, and let out a little toot! :eek: Sometimes they acknowledge it, sometimes they look at you like WTH was that! LOL so funny! OR the sleepy stretch when they lay on their sides, curl into a ball and do the 4-leg paw touch while stretching their neck back while in a deep sleep.

Love the entire morning routine!! Big stretches, yawns and then a good shake to get the hair right.....I love the morning....if I am still asleep, Trixie will come up to my face and put her little nose right against mine till I open my eyes...then a great big tail way and lots of smooches!!!

Yes! I love that one. Legs straight up in the air? Max actually slept that way when he was a pup -- the dead horse look, lol. I also like when he is in that position and stretches his front paws downward.

Aww, Thor. Max bends his front legs (like begging) during belly rubs and when he is happy.

It never occurred to me before where the names for yoga poses come from. :p

Yes, their stretching is absolutely adorable!!! Rio even stretches on command - I just say "stretchy stretchy" and she gets on her belly and starts pulling herself forward with her front paws. Then she always finishes off her stretch by flipping on her back for a belly rub. Bullet does the standing stretch, extending his back legs one at a time. He looks like he's doing yoga!

Well I see that I'm in good company LOL! I thought I was a little crazy for thing the stretching was so adorable. My kids call it the army crawl. :)

Oh yeah, Thor LOVES to army crawl! I didn't know that was stretching. He does it anytime he gets excited and is near a rug. I think he looks like a furry little submarine.

I was just thinking about this this morning. Ziva does this crazy cute stretch in the mornings. She does the stretch pictured in the one above.. it's so stinkin cute cuz she is so tiny... then she lays on her back and swooshes from side to side... so goofy.

Chewie almost always does frog legs when he's chewing his bully stick.

His favorite stretch is the "superman" stretch. He lays on his belly, stretches his front feet forward and his back feet backward, all the while yawning hugely. So funny!

I LOVE when Taycie stretches. This how she usually wakes me up. She will climb on my back and stretch her little front legs with her rump in the air... then she will come over and attack my face with kisses! I love it! One of my favorite things:)

i think it's super cute too. Sadie's stretching is always front paws straight out and back arched up like a cat. and Bentley will first do that way and pause for awhile then he'll entend his back legs out and do the froggie crawl and drag his back legs behind him for a few. his whole belly touches the ground and drags along. it's super silly. he also likes to roll and flip on carpet and beds and couches we call it "rubbing his stink on things" :D
