| Too early to get excited,,, but I can't help it!!! Well it looks like we are going to have a new addition to the family!!! After puppy sitting this weekend,,, we fall inlove with Gracie. A tiny Chi that we hated to see go home. All but Gus I should add. Well looks like we will be having a puppy in about 3 months or so. Gracie'a mamma is pregnant and we were promised a female from that litter, if no female is born we will wait for the next litter. I am so excited!!!! I have been looking at little pink sweater and dresses. I want to go and buy already but my husband said no. We don't know for sure if this pregnancy will even give us a girl. The next few weeks are going to be so long! Now here is where the problem is,,,,,, "Gus" He did not want anything to so with Gracie while she was here. For those of you who have 2 + dogs, how long did it take for the them to adjust? Gus is so spoiled and such a mommies boy. We are just getting better with the seperation thing. It's been 2 weeks since I had to leave him to go to the hospital to get my appendix out and he was so sad. He is now starting to venture out and doesnt have to be at my feet or on my lap or in my arms 24/7. I don't want to worry him sick with me giving another puppy attention. And I hope with time he will grow to love her too. For those of you who didn't see the pictures of Gus and Gracie,,,,, here they are again. We are hoping for something a little big bigger, at least as big as Gus whish is only 2.9 lbs. But for the last 3 litters they all have been this tiny, give or take a few oz's. so they say.

| Congratulations! Mine were both pups when I got them so they got used to each other right away. I had to supervise their playing though cause Jewels was so small. They will get used to each other in time. Having a little girl is so much fun. Enjoy!!!

| We added Scout to the family when Pippa was almost a year old. She was very jealous and acted sad for about 5 days. I thought I had made a big mistake, I was on the forum crying to everyone about it.LOL Now they are the best of friends and inseprable. They all eventually adjust to whatever the family dynamic is. Dogs are so resilient!

| Well...when we got Coty, Tyson was already about 9 yrs. old. He didn't want to have anything to do with Coty for almost 3 months and he didn't really "talk" to us either for a while. But then he realized that Coty wasn't going anywhere. Fastforward to September of this year and we brought Jagger home and Tyson is ripping and running and rolling on the ground with Jagger like he's his child!!! And Tyson is now almost 15!!! Go figure. I don't know if he thought it was Coty or what. Now tomorrow we pick up Jett, our new puppy, so I'll be VERY curious to see how both Tyson and Jagger react!
