Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Displaying your Christmas cards? Don't want to hijack Wylie's Mom's TY thread, so thought I'd start a new one. I'm looking for ways to display all the gorgeous cards we've received this year. I'm leaning toward an arrangement I saw with 1" bells glued to painted dowels of different heights and then stuck in a foam base. The base was covered with greenery. The slots in the bells were used to hold the cards. I can't for the life of me find the picture I saw... Wondering if those of you who have already displayed your cards would perhaps like to share a picture of what you did so i can steal, er, emulate your ideas? |

| I don't have a picture but I cut a dowel about 18 inches long. I covered it with red felt. Then I hung red felt 1" ribbon down about 40" or so. I put 2 of these ribbons hanging from the dowl. Then I just stapled the pictures onto the ribbon one under the other. I used a piece of thin red ribbon on the ends of the dowel and hung it on a nail on the wall. It looks beautiful and it is a nice decoration for my wall. Everyone that comes to my house can admire all your beautiful babies.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Just found the display I tried to describe - yee haw! Right up my alley because it involves neat stuff like drills and saws. Jingle Bell Card Display: An Easy Christmas Project I did get the bell size wrong but otherwise... But I don't think I have time to make it for this Christmas, so I would still like to see everybody else's ideas. Plus it's a good excuse for looking at still more pics of everybody's Yorkies! |

| This year I am tapeing them to the French doors. I'm going to try and be a bit more creative next year.

| This is just one more thing I haven't gotten done yet. I'm taking tomorrow off from work to catch up at home! I'm planning on just stapling them to a wide velvet ribbon and making a bow for the top. I think I'm just going to thumbtack it to a door facing. We'll see how it turns out. If it's ok I'll post pictures.

| Here is a link to some great ideas. I am strapped for time this year, so this is the one I did. I will try to get a picture and post it later when I am at home. (The pic is a sample, not mine..) Christmas Card Display Ideas from Better Homes and Gardens

| Great idea for a thread. I put wide ribbon around some of the doors and stapled the cards to the ribbon. Just love looking at all the Yorkies and will post a picture soon. Does anyone else have pictures to share?
