Sometimes anesthesia affects dogs in different ways. A vet check is always good, but I think too, she may be feeling scared or insecure, or having bad dreams that wake her up. I would try to just reassure her that she's home and everything's okay.

I'm now realizing how lucky I am with both Magnus and especially Zoey. Magnus was ready to play about an hour or so after we got home. Zoey.. she stayed in bed little longer than usual the next day but by lunch time, she was back to herself. In fact, she got annoyed that I wouldn't play with her so she started running and jumping on furniture so I ended up carrying her EVERYWHERE in the house for the rest of the day so she wouldn't bust her stitches.
