| My family thinks I'm insane because when took the furkids out for their walk. I geared Tila up in her little fleece suit with her puffy vest over that and her booties. But I wanted her to be warm, it's sure cold out. I think they thought it was a little much. She had a great time though, plowed right through the snow and had a blast running around. I, on the other hand froze. lol |

| It's okay that they think you are crazy. My boyfriend thinks I'm insane for putting Rylie in a shirt, a coat, booties, etc. when I'm taking her out or put her in a shirt when it is nippy in the house. My family accepts my logic at least, but it hurts my feelings sometimes when he picks on me for being "one of those crazy dog ladies" not going to lie. It makes me feel ridiculous... especially since I promised myself I wasn't going to be one of "those" mommies. However, we both know that snow/cold is nothing to ignore when it comes to our babies. They are so tiny and are very susceptible to getting sick/hypothermia. I personally bundle my little one up and would never risk her being uncomfortable for any reason. She shakes when I take her out of the bath in a heated bathroom for cripes sake, so I'd never want to take her outside in the freezing cold without clothing on. |

| Same thing here, for the past few weeks now here in PA its been 15 degree weather with windchills making it feel like its in the single digits so when I go out with Edward I put his pajamas and then his coat w/ the faux fur on it. And I hear my bf talking to him telling him poor baby you have to put up with your mom being crazy!! But I dont care what he says for me it doesnt hurt my feelings because he doesnt know what hes talking about. And your not one of "those mommies" even ppl with bigger dogs will sometimes put sweaters on their dogs in the winter we all should have known this would be normal as part of our puppies care because of their size so dont worry HE'S insane!!! lol

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | I'm glad I'm "one of those mommies" mine wear jumpers and coats out and I take Tias bag for her to jump into with a warm blanket in it for when she starts to shake. I found myself tutting at other dog owners for not doing the same for their dogs lol

| I'm one also. I like to take Bella whenever I can. Today we have our first Christmas get together, and in my moms card she stated only two legged people. Ok, so I think Bella will get a puppy day at my brothers with his Yorkie. I admit, I took it personal. At least her being at my brothers, I will be two miles away. :-). |

| I don't think you're insane, because I'm insane too!! My little man is getting older and he wears a sweatshirt or T shirt in the house during the day and his jammies at night. Of course he has sweaters and coats for outside too. My son laughs and I told him he's just jealous because he can't wear little blue fuzzy jammies anymore! |

| I think a lot of us are with you. Mine wore her dress to Thanksgiving dinner this year. My uncle is a preacher and before the blessing my mom asked for extra prayer for me. She told him that I had lost my mind since I got my furbaby!! But I don't care if they think I am insane. So, I don't think you are insane at all! I think you just love your baby!

| When I take Piper for walks she has a sweater on plus a winter coat. I have not found booties yet that actually stay on and are functional. Any suggestions? Once the snow comes our walks end. I worry about her feet.

| This is so true. We don't have snow here in Los Angeles, but it's been awful rainy the last few days. I just gave Kaji a haircut on his body. His hair was at least an inch and a half long and now it's all gone (he was miserable with the long hair). Of course, he'll feel the difference when we're outside in the cold. So I put his snowsuit on yesterday and off we went. My brother thought I was nuts, but oh well, at least Kaji was nice and warm, and Kaji made a lot of people smile at the airport. It did make me realize Kaji needs boots for the rain. He hates having his feet cleaned, and I'm not a big fan of wet paws in my car. Maybe boots will solve the problem?
