Very Angry!!!....Reassurance Please?

What is the ladies name? I have heard of a lady in California that is scamming people in a similar way. They never got their deposits back. Whether or not you get your deposit back you should post her name and details in the breeder review section. It is totally wrong what she did.
This other ladies name was Channel but I think she goes by different names. She has scammed lots of people.

Have you contacted Paypal yet? Notify them that there is a dispute to the purchase and they can put a 'hold' on her account until the deposit is returned. I would also send them copies of the emails saying that she stated she had returned the deposit to you.

Good morning everyone! And, it really really is! Apparently, someone here local saw this thread, about what happened, and..... she offered me one of her pups for a super good price! Almost half of what I was going to pay. This lady also just Championed out one of her dogs, and is willing to take me under her wing! I know they say bad things happen for a reason, and goodness knows I believe that, but for it to happen literally overnight?? Yay for the magic of the holidays. I am supposed to go see her pups later tonight, and I will post on here if I pick one. They arent quite ready to leave home yet, but she says she still has 3 to pick from.

On the reason I posted this thread, the lady has in fact returned my deposit, but says she will not pay for my flight. My fiancee is trying to see if the airlines will either refund it or credit it for a later use.. Will let you know what happens.

Yeah, I am so glad tha things are working out for you. I agree, things happen for a reason, sometimes we just don't "see" it until much later -- hindsight is much better than foresight.

I agree with Pat (YorkieRose), you reap what you sow, so I would expect the $$ hungry breeder will get hers in due time.

I can see a breeder refusing sale of a pup if they choose to do so as most have it in their contract. I can NOT see doing it at that point were a flight was already scheduled. The deposit you had placed on the pup should already been returned to you. This is just so wrong on many levels

I read your thread yesterday and was upset re: what was happening to you from this breeder but didnt take the time to respond. I just wanted to tell you Im glad things are looking up for you and youll be getting your pup from a reputable breeder that cares more about her dogs and her reputation than the money. Glad things are working out. I would definitely pursue the cost of the plane ticket through small claims court in her jurisdiction, especially if you have in emails where she asked you to fly out there.

Omg !! great news , your getting a furbaby and you got your refund !!!
Most Airline if u proof to them what happen , will credit u for the ticket to be use within a year , not longer than that !!!!

i'm glad ur getting a pup. that's exciting news and thanks for the kind words on my GE. Sadie is going to be just fine! congrats and can't wait to see the new puppy.

these are the pictures she sent me, I am soo friggin excited to see the puppies. They are championed sired, and are being sold as pets, but she says the male has great lines so far, and if, after 7-8 months he is still looking promising, she might consider doing a co-own to show him. But only if I agree to come learn about showing from her, and attend classes and such. People, I am soo freaking giddy right now I feel like a kid at.... well Christmas!

ETA: They are 9 weeks right now, but wont be ready for another 3. They have had their first shots, which is the only reason she is letting me come see them. And, the tiny picture is the male at 3 weeks, the other one is one of the females.
