You don't have to be that knowledgeable, if there's something you don't know how to do, I'll be glad to help. I've been welcoming people for a while, and the main things they want to know is how to use the forum. Go to the index page: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/index.php and look for the appropriate forum for their question. I always suggest posting "I'm new here" thread on the General forum. I try to lean away from answering any actual questions on specific topics, I point them to the forum, and then I add my input after they have written a thread. This "how to" forum is another great resource: YorkieTalk How-To Guides - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community in helping the newbie.

I'm hoping newbies will join the club, it's a great way to start connecting with people.

I can't get the other threads in the club to open, so I'll post one of my "Tips" here.

To get to the list of newest members:

First go to the index page. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/index.php, at the bottom of the page, you will see the words,


YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Statistics - YorkieTalk Detailed Statistics

Click on Yorkietalk Detailed Statistics, and on that page, click on Results To View: You will get a list of the last 100 members who joined. Start at the bottom because those names go first.


We are getting around 30 - 40 new members a day, of course most are just reading threads and doing a search, but some will stick around if we have made them feel welcome.


I'm hoping all members of the club, can greet at least 10 new people a day!

I just opened the group last night, and there seems to be a few glitches to it. I can't get some of the threads to open, but if you look in the top right hand corner, you should see the words: "Join Group". Click on that!
