| how old was your baby ..when he/she had their first grooming? Just asking, as Taylah's coat must be growing *so* fast! We've only had her a week and a day now, and it looks like its grown so much. She is 12wks1day today/3 months old.

| Joey went really early, like around 18 weeks. His coat is cottony and was tangling terribly. Much less stress for both of us since he had it cut. I really hadn't wanted to cut it that soon, but in the end, I was glad I did. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali went last week for the first time at 19 weeks. i was a wreck but interviewed the groomer first. I am going to keep her in the long coat so they just trimmed her feet, ears and privates. She looked beautiful! |

| Groomer's point of view Hey there! Just thought I would chime in from the groomers perspective. My thought is if you think you will have her groomed regularly (shorter coat), then I always say the sooner the better. It would get her used to the clippers sooner. This way she won't be so "scared" to go to the "spa"...she might actually enjoy it! My poor Lili has to endure being a "groomers puppy" BUT I think she really likes it mow (at leaset she might have given up resisting ) Please keep in mind that she should be COMPLETE on all her puppy shots too(what I require). Hope that helps.
