| Need help with sizing for Puppia I am ordering Calvin a Puppia coat, and am having a hard time trying to decide what size to order. I don't have any Puppia brand clothing, but I have heard they run small. Calvin's sweaters are small, and the coat he has now is an xsmall (but it could be a little bigger). Here is where I am having a hard time. Calvin : back-11", neck-7", chest (plus 2")-14" small : back-7.48", neck-11.02", chest-13.78" med : back-9.45", neck-12.6, chest-16.5" A small would be great except for the length. I want it to fit him properly. I don't know if the medium would be too wide. He's only about 6lbs. Please give me your opinions. I want to get this order in asap, the sale ends tonight or tomorrow. |

| Get the small. Calvin's measurements are very close to Adie's and she has a small. Good luck P.S. Get the matching leash if you can. Their colors are kind of hard to match with other brands. |

Do you have the coat or harness for Adie? I know most people think harness when they see Puppia, but maybe they would be sized the same. I just realized (in case it makes a difference) that I wrote coat by mistake in my post. I'm getting him a snowsuit, not a coat | |

| I don't have the coat (although I eyeballed a few Puppia coats- very cute!) but Jackson is 15lbs and wears the Medium sized Puppia harness with much room to spare, so I think you'd be safe with a small.

| I just got the snowsuit, and it is way too small I'm going to send it back and wait for them to refund my credit card then order another. The bad news is they are out of stock on them right now. Now I'm wondering if the medium would even be too small. The small was so small, I didn't even get his back legs in. From the measurememnts I posted in the first post, do you think I should get the medium or large? I'm really thinking large since the medium is only 2 inches longer than the small, while the large is just under 4 inches longer. Who would think a 6lb-7lb dog would wear a large? Opinions please! |

| The problem is alot of the dog clothing comes in 3 catagories small dog, regular and large dog. I made so many mistakes ordering clothing and alot of times it is non refundable. For example. I got a small jacket for my yorkie Zach and it would probably have fit a toy. Zach weighs 6 lbs. I failed to realize that this was a small in small dogs sizes. I ended up getting a large and it fits him. I had to get an extra large for my Shorkie. Then I made the mistake of getting an xx large for my Basset Hounds not realizing again they were large dog sizes. It fell off them. They needed a large. You have to read the fine print. It's very confusing. So the bottom line was that if I order regurlar size dog clothes Zach wears a small and Zoe wears a medium. Sometimes I think it's easier to go into a store a buy the stuff then you can judge better. |

| Schooby, I would go with the small - Sophie Kate is not a small Yorkie (8.5 lbs) but she wears a small Puppia. If you can wait in until December 26th I will be in Lansing and can bring her harness for you to try.
