| New yorkie first grooming Hey everyone, So recently i got a yorkie a few months ago. I took him to get his first puppy cut and everything was great. They really didn't trim anything. Well yesterday i did and had no idea they were going to shave his nose! I was just curious how long you'd think it would take to grow back. I have a picture of him before and after his haircut! I dont want it long, just back to normal :/ Thanks! From now on i'll just do it myself heh http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a63...g?t=1291827759 http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a63...g?t=1291827761 what do you think? few weeks? It was never long before, just like a inch. |

| They are like people with their hair -- it can be so different between different Yorkies. Some grow very fast, and some seem to take forever. I hope it does not take long. I think I will write my directions and attach to a harness next time I take mine in since so many have had your experience lately. I actually just went to trimming under Ben's eyes and giving him a visor. I tried really hard to keep a topknot in, but no matter what I used he would rub and rub until he got it out or knotted up so bad I had to cut it out. But I have a little girl about ready for her first grooming and I REALLY want a topknot this time. So, I will have to make sure they understand one can be cut but the other should keep the hair there. I have to tell you though -- the cut did not take away from his cuteness factor at all! I bet you have fun with that little guy!
