What's Does Your Dog's Food Bowl Look Like At Mealtime?

My boys both eat Life's Abundance food topped with baby spinach and chopped pineapple slices. Max has tennis balls in his bowl to try to prevent him from inhaling. We are currently shopping for a better alternative.

What does your dog's food bowl look like at mealtime and what's in it?

Your boy's meals look like fine dining compared to the boring kibble served in my house. Reminds me of the 5-star meals Mimimomo feeds her princess. :)

Max and Teddy have their sweet peas served a la carte on a separate plate. I'll take pictures later.

You made me hungry for spinach again. :D

It looks like royalties dinner compare to the dried kibble mine gets. Oh and they eat out of the same bowl cause if not they run back and forth trying to hog each bowl when the other one goes to it.

The spinach is delicious! I'm enjoying it as much as the boys are. I have a feeling though that some of the YT members are going to put my bowls to shame!:cool:

My furbutt's bowl looks just like yours - I feed Fancy Life's Abundance to minus the spinach and pineapple though! I mix yogurt in once in awhile instead.

The feed store gave me some samples of a new canned food called Weruva 2 weeks ago. It's grain-free and has shredded chicken, beef, eggs, pumpkin, carrots and peas in it. It looks and smells like a stew. We are calling it Yorkie Crack because mine won't eat their kibble now if I don't add it in. And since the weather has changed, they both expect me to warm it up in the microwave first. No cold meals for them.

Yummy!! What pampered little pups! Just curious, what are the benefits of the baby spinach? I'm not sure my little one would even eat it but I might just have to try that!

The baby spinach is an attempt to get Max to stop eating poop. However, both dogs love it and now Cooper is really enjoying his food so much more with the spinach than without. I don't see a reason why not to give it to them.

Do you serve it raw or cooked? Do you think it's helping with the poop eating? Mine won't eat pineapple and none of the supplements I've tried worked.

I give a couple of leaves raw with each meal. I break it up in my hands. No, I don't think it's helping at all, but Barney107's Teddy has completely stopped eating poop after trying the spinach routine. The boys love the spinach though so I don't see the harm in giving it during mealtime.

Yeah I give mine pineapple to help with the poop eating because he was definitely guilty of that! I also JUST switched over to Blue brand food...I hope that's a good, healthy brand for him.

This was Jackson's meal that he just scarfed down.

Orijen Regional Red kibble with a bit of NV Instinct wet food and a few pieces of left over steak and crab cake from last nights dinner.... spoiled, much? :)

LOL at the tennis balls? How do you keep them clean? Or did you bust out a brand new pack just for us? Uni inhales her food now too. I'll try to get a pic later. her's is Honest kitchen with chicken bits.

Those are new balls. I usually use rubber balls that I can wash in the sink. LadyJane suggested this bowl to me, which I'm buying tomorrow. [Welcome to brake-fast.net!

Kaji's is boring too. :( Only chicken Orijen, and less than 1/4 cup at a time. Is there anything I can add that can help Kaji feel full and is low to no calories? He loves lettuce whites so nothing is off limits. :)

Levi gets 1/8 cup of Orijen at each serving, usually with something mixed in. Have you tried green beans? We use frozen green beans (I thaw them a little beforehand, or you could microwave them, my crazy dog will eat them straight from the freezer), and they are low-calorie and pretty fiber-y and filling. Wish I had taken a picture earlier! He's already eaten and I just saw this thread. Will take one tomorrow morning. :)

Izzy got the raw nuggets this morning, so tonight she got 1/4 Orijen, little diced chicken that we had for dinner and about 1 tablespoon for poma/acai yogurt ( her fav)

Hmmmm I feed only kibble in the bowls (we just switched from Innova to Taste of the Wild)...Elvie also eats a raw diet, but I'm lazy so I give him Stella and Chewy's (mostly Duck Duck Dinner) patties most of the time-they are not as visually pleasing as your pics! When I feed special food once a week I feed it from my hand...special food meaning vegi's and goodness they'd ignore in their bowl but when it comes from my hand it is suddenly yummy!

I gave my daughter my camera and am waiting for a camcorder via UPS, a little treat to me from me. Tess's food bowwl b4 eaten has a 1/4 cup of wellness on 1 half and a portion of smart pak chicken stew in pumkin with other veggies,100%organic and comes in a pouch turns out to be a quarter cup.

Our bowls look a bit more scant than yours Karen. Toby gets a whole 22 pieces of kibble and Speedy gets 44! If you find a good way to keep Max from inhaling his food, please share as Toby inhales his as well. He's done with his dinner in a matter of about 30 seconds!

Do you know how to shrink them in the photo program you have? You can probably open it, right click and find a size option. I'm mobile right now so I can't help much. But feel free to email them to me and I can post them in the morning.

I'm not sure one of those bowls would do any good for 22 pieces of kibble would it?
