| Eating the wee wee pads Deb and Maya have ON OCCASION chewed up the wee wee pads....I have them in the holder things so most of the time they leave them alone. Yesterday I bought a new brand at wal-mart. I am not sure if it is coincidence or it is something on these pads, but they have shredded so many of them in 24 hours!!! Does anyone know why they might do this to a certain brand? Also, do you think spraying bitter apple on them would deter them from using them ? HELP!!!!

| We have always used the Simple Solutions and have never had a problem with Toto chewing them up. She did grab them out of her pen and drag them around a couple of times .... we just got one of those red/yellow holders and she never tried it again!! Good luck!!

| I'd try Bitter Apple Spray. I don't think it would effect them from using the pee pads because their mouths aren't suppose to be on them.

| My boys would chew on their potty pads when we would leave them alone at home in their pin so I started spraying with the bitter apple & it worked they wouldn't chew. Every dog reacts differently to the bitter apple some like it instead of deter them. I guess you will just have to try different things to see what works for your babies.

| My puppies discovered them as toys today....they would grab one and race onward..i have the pads all over the place so when one would grab one and start running they all would get their own and it would be a race down the hallway...couldn't even watch football today because we were chasing puppies and their pee pads... |

| Gucci used to chewed on her pee pads. I got a holder and she stop. She has stop chewing on them,i guess she jusr outgrew that stage. I hope the bitter apple works for you. Lilfoot, that story is hilarious. I dont want to laugh at your frustration, but just imagining the pups pee pad racing I just cant help it but laugh. |

| I bought the holders too....about 2 weeks ago and they had been working great! Until last night. I am not sure if the new brand of pads had anything to do with it, or it was a coincidence. So far the bitter apple has deterred any more chewing today...but nobody has gone potty yet either.....I will update you on how we do tonight!!

| The Bitter Apple deters them a little....but then they tear them up eventually. They have never done this before! I cant believe it was totally a coincidence. I am going to get a different brand tomorrow and see if that helps any!! What a mess they are making of my kitchen!!!!

| I'm using piddle pads from Walmart and my pup is doing the same thing! I tried taping the edges down, which is working to keep them in place, but then she started digging at the middle and tore it up that way!!! The Walmart brand I have is called "Out! Deluxe Puppy Housebreaking Pads" Are these the ones you have?? Maybe I'll try another brand and see if she tears those up too.... |

| Those are the ones!!! And yes, I used the trays and they dig at the middle to shred them! I had switched back to the Petco brand and the shredding immediatly stopped...until today.....today they have shredded all day Very very frustrating! Especially since they are going to stay with a friend starting tomorrow for a whole week
