| How to stop my puppy from pooping in her crate? Wow, I have learned so much from all you yorkie mommies, now I need some more advice, my 4 mos old girl , poops in her crate at night, we do everything to get her to go before she goes to bed, but she wont go, and then goes in her bed, dont know if the crate is too big for her, or what to do, any body else have the same problem with their baby? |

| What time are you feeding her dinner? What time are you getting her up in the morning to go out? My two eat dinner at 4:00 p.m. Last pee of the night is around 9.00 pm... they got out in the morning at 5:15 am and pee/poo. She still is very young.

| I feed them dinner at 5, and get up at 6'30. maybe I should try and get up earlier, but dont really feel like sitting outside with her for a half hr at that time of the morning. she is not relating going outside and doing her jobs out there, so she just wants to come back inside. I know she is still a baby. |

| I did several things when we adopted Ally. First, I put a superyard xt in the back yard, which became her potty pen. Every time we went outside, she went inside it and I wouldn't let her out until she went. Lots of praise and she learned fast that when she went, mommy would let her out. I do remember times that I walked her around the back yard trying to get her to go, but for the most part, the potty pen worked great. Second, I picked up her food at around 7 pm. Third, After many months of surprises in the kennel in the morning, I moved Ally upstairs beside my bed. That was the best miracle of all. It worked great when we adopted Tia also. Good luck, you'll have to find what works for you and your baby. I think it is different for different pups. |
