| How much did your Yorkie weigh at 10 weeks? Hello everyone! I am curious to know how much your yorkies weighed at ten weeks old and how much they weigh now. My baby Layla turned ten weeks yesterday and she is at 1.7oz. Her vet said she would be about six or seven pounds full grown. He based this on his own Yorkie who was the same weight at 12 weeks and is now 4lbs. The breeders said she would be about 3 1/2 and the "charts" claim she will be 3-4.5lbs. I've also read that genetics play a large role and that each and every puppy is different. It really doesn't matter but I would just like an idea of what to expect! |

| I got Apple, when she was 11 1/2 weeks old, and she weighed, exactly, 2 lbs...She's two now, and weighs 5 1/2 lbs...She would like to way 6 1/2 lbs., but her vet says to watch her weight... I had trouble keeping weight on her, 'till she was spayed, and then boom, she really started gaining weight.. |

| I hope you mean 1.7 POUNDS Chloe was about 2 pounds at 10 weeks I think and she is 5 pounds now. Armani was about 3 pounds at 10 weeks and he is 5.5 pounds now. Also, genetics do play a big part- some dogs grow faster at the beginning and others seem to have a "spurt" later- you can usually get a good idea by looking at the parents, and their parents, and their parents, etc. Last edited by ArmaniMan; 11-30-2010 at 02:27 PM. |

| Lulu weighed 2 lbs when I got her at 14 weeks. I don't know what she was at 10 weeks. She is 7.5 months now & weighs 3 lbs 7 ounces. Rule of thumb is to double the 12 week weight...but not all babies follow that rule of thumb.

| Memphis was 2.4lbs at 10 weeks. He is nearly 18 weeks now and is just shy of 5lbs. He's skinny though. He has no fat on him at all, not even puppy fat. Must be all the running around he does |

| Tinkerbell was 2.4 pounds at 13 weeks and at 7.5 months is 4.5 lbs. She was 4lbs a month ago so I think she is going through a growth spurt. |

| Emma was 2.3 pounds at 12 weeks and she's now 3.5 pounds. She hasn't grown too much... Carmel was a 1.7 pounds and he's 5.5 pounds now... It all varies, you can't really "redict" how much they will get to. We were expecting Emma to be 5 lbs.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Morgan was 15oz at 5 weeks, 1lb 5.7oz at 7 weeks, and 1lb 15oz at 13 weeks when I brought her home. She is now 4.5years old and weighs anywhere between 4.8 and 5.3lbs depending on what's in her belly and if she's pottied recently. LOL

| My Yorkie was 10 weeks old when we got her and she weighed 1 pound. She is almost 15 months old now and weighs 2.6 pounds. Her mom was around 5 pounds and her dad was 4 pounds. She is our first Yorkie and I had no idea that she would be this small. The whole litter was about the same size as her. IDK I think they are all different. My little one is healthy though she had a lot of blood work when I had her spayed to check for liver shunt and other disorders and all of it came back normal thank goodness.
